Auto Sweet Spot Glitch

I was wondering if this was widely known or not. When you auto sweet spot a ledge with Samus's Up-B, if you then choose to fall off of the ledge, you will then have considerably less aerial mobility until you choose to jump again or use any move. It only affects certain character's moves. Is this common knowledge?

The reduced aerial mobility isn't that much. And when you drop off the ledge you mostly do a jump/move anyways.

I think this happens to Marth sometimes too

It happens with Marth if he's hit out of his up-b. If he's hit out of his up-b he will have the same momentum as if he is in free fall after his up-b. Could also be the case for Samus, not sure.
