I need help beating foxes who laser spam. If the fox comes to me it's not so bad, but the ones who run away spamming lasers, then jump away, nair and run to the other side, or dash dance camp when you get close are pretty frustrating. Also, on smaller stages this isn't as much of a problem, but on FD it's hard to chase them down since there aren't any platforms. Any advice?

can't really help you, but it's happened to me before...
what i like to do is if they are spamming lasers at me...on FD i needle 'em. it's simple really.
if you connect that gives you like 1-2 seconds of running time to get close, if it fails, try again.
i dunno if my advice is good or not, but that's just what i do...

Sometimes if you run towards fox and he waits too long you can just run and slap and catch them trying to jump out of shield.

You're going to have to eat some lasers because you can't just run right up to them and attack. You have to get more aggressive but you can't eschew your approaches either, and if that means eating some lasers, whatever. And you'll get closer and they'll have to slow down their laser camping anyway (either that or get slapped / dash attacked).

A lot of Foxes will immediately run and nair you when you run to them when they're camping, or they're jump and do something. Jumping and neutraling helps a lot; even if they shield it you can space it properly and they can't shield grab, or you can DI yourself in the air and limit the punishment.
