In other words, if my friend and I wanted to play, could we both do it off one console? Or would we both have to have Wiis?

As a matter of fact you could both brawl online on just one Wii console. Up to 3 players can brawl online with 1 console but at least one player has to have a different Wii console, which is the 4th player.

Yes, you can for Brawling with Friends. But for Brawling with Anyone, it's one person per console.

How come when I tried joining a friend's game, only I was able to get in and my brother couldn't? We're both using the same Wii console. When we join a game is he suppose to press anything? He can only join if I make the game, otherwise I don't know how to get my brother in the same game. Anyone know what I can do?

Hmm, not sure - maybe you have to be the one to make the room? Try setting up the room and inviting your friends into it, instead of joining their rooms.

Has anyone been able to JOIN (not host) a friend code game with two or more people using the same wii?
It is possible. I did not do it myself, but last night a friend hosted, and I joined, and another friend joined two on one console (it showed up as the same name until the game started, and then it used their individual profile names).

I'm not sure of how to do it, but I've witnessed it happening.

Ya, last time I tried that, but the other slots of the character selection screen said "Seeking..." and there was no where on the screen that prompted player two to press anything. I'll try again later n see if it works.

You need to press start when you're at the character select screen. If there's someone in you're room that you're connected to or has connected to you it will ask that player if it's OK for him to join.
