General Information (Partial Credit goes to Level Up & Shoryuken.com):
- Tournaments are DOUBLE ELIMINATION STYLE
- Wireless Controllers are NOT allowed (Battery packs must be taken out, and 360 wireless controllers must be hardwired to the console.)
- Tournament winnings given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be issued via check (1 - 2 week(s) to process)
- Collusion of any kind with your competitors is considered cheating. If the Tournament Director determines that any competitor is colluding to manipulate the results or intentionally underperforming, the collaborating players may be immediately disqualified. This determination is to be made at the sole discretion of the Tournament Director. Anyone disqualified in this manner forfeits all rights to any titles or prizes they might have otherwise earned for that tournament.
- Programmable controllers and/or turbo functions are banned, and if a player is found using any such function will immediately forfeit the game.
- Pausing a game will result in forfeit of that round unless the opponent chooses to waive this option.
Rules
YOU MUST BE ON TIME FOR YOUR MATCHES. A NO-SHOW RESULTS IN A DISQUALIFICATION WITHOUT REFUND.
Project M
Singles:
- Games best of 3
- Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals Best of 5
- Time: 8 minutes
- No obnoxious texture packs (for both stages, and characters)
- Stalling is Banned
- Giga Bowser is Banned
- Input Assist and Items are off
- Double Blind, Port Priority, and Neutral start are available upon request
- DSR: You cannot counterpick on a stage you've won
- Gentleman's Clause: Any stage can be played on if agreed
- Pausing is not allowed unless the pausing player is on a respawn platform, and agreed by the other player
- Coaching is not allowed during matches
Our venue is spacious, and we have plenty of TVs. Feel free to bring your own Wii, we may have some extra TVs to use for friendlies.
