Tired of making it back the to edge agasint Marth, only to be struck back out by his sword? Well on FD i found something that works if they get too close.
1)Drop down and wall jump
2)Hold the direction of the edge
3)Do a bair
If you dropped low enough before the wall jump, you should be able to hit with the tip of your bair through the stage and hopefully avoid another marth slash. If not, you might actually make it out of his swords range and maybe get a hit OR you'll just trade hits (risking your KO, but potential damage/KO if he's at high enough percent). Fair trade if you were going to die anyway :/
So basically when they see you drop, they should try to attack as you wall jump, putting them in range for the bair. It's only on FD right now cuz not all of the stages will let you drop low enough and wall jump while being close enough to still hit the person on the edge. I havnt tried other stages yet.
I know this wont work if they are spacing the edge, but if they do, it might make it easier to get back to the stage.
I'll see if I can get a vid of it. I cant practice on anyone right now, but when i do, ill post back to let you know if this def works.
EDIT: If they do space and are too far to hit, start doing slow edge hops to draw them in close enough.
