You get knocked far off the screen and your opponent casually walks off and grabs the ledge while you second jump back. You do extreme speed to grab the occupied ledge.

What happens? I mean Lucario has no damage on his extreme speed. And I am speaking of stage without walls to it's edges.

Since good timing will let people edge hog many characters that have a damaging up-B, it just means it's easier to do against Lucario than them. So any non-character specific method that they have to deal with it are options Lucario has as well, plus he can wall cling if the level allows it.

An aura sphere to clear off the edge is your only real option in this case.

You could also curse the Devs for not making Extreme Speed deal any damage, but you'll still fall to your doom.

At this point, you could do the new competitive technique which is the ability to smack the controller out of your opponent's hands once per match.

This is called the "SAKURAAAAAAIIIIIII"

XD No matter how many times I say that, it's still slightly amusing.

Don't forget to yell "You must recover!" if they accidentally fast fall off the edge in the process. Otherwise it wouldn't be a true SAKURAAAAAAIIIIIII.

Hit em with a Shadow Ball and hope that you can get the ledge before they do. Or try and wall cling.

whenever i get knock off i save my second jump and just charge up aura sphere while floating back to the stage. that way if someone tries to edgeguard they may time the invincibility frames right, but the second jump allows you to knock them off or aura sphere if they are really asking for it. lucario is so floaty you shouldnt need to use his second jump to recover unless you are hit almost below the stage by somehting like wolf's dsmash
