Edguarding question

If your opponent is stalling, have you ever tried using a chain on them? I haven't had the chance to test it against anyone yet, was wondering what drawbacks there are to trying it, besides the extreme lag.

Depends how they're stalling and how good they are at it.

Some stalls, Ganon's rejump, space animals up+B, and sheik's up+b, can't be interrupted.

look down a few topics, i asked the same question, there are some responses. I think i asked about edge hoppers or somethign like that.

The chain works if u do it so the tip hits them (u r at a safe distance to pull it back but can still hit them). Besides that crouch cancel and down tilt, run off and bair them, try to take the edge, OR jsut stay back and charge needles

The chain exists to humiliate. Keep it in the bag till you're finishing someone off still on your first stock.

I don't main sheik, and I tried it out yesterday night, didn't seem like a huge help or anything, but thanks for the feedback.

just stay back and full jump needles, if you get their rhythm down do a quick sh reverse needle edgehog and steal the ledge
