Help With Diddy?

Hello :/ Ive been feeling down about how im struggling in smash 4 and i main diddy so i was hoping some people could give me some tips about Diddy and maybe even play online some I just want to ask generally what should I be doing a lot with diddy and what my goal with him should be. Hopefully I can get some good advice for him .
