I'm NovaRemnant, but Nova for short. The Remnant is to distinguish from anyone else using Nova.
Anyway, I joined up here because of my friend Rend getting me into the competitive scene. I only play Smash 3DS, though. I never liked the way Brawl felt, I played Brawl Minus over Project M, and don't even know what happened to my copy of Melee.
I main Little Mac, because he was who I had the most fun playing with at first, and I want to bring him up from his bad rep as the scrub character that baddies pick in For Glory. I want to be the best Mac I can be. I'm also going to learn Pac-Man and Duck Hunt Dog to give myself some variety. Maybe if I have the patience, try out Mega Man, because he's my favorite fictional character across all mediums.
I actually visited Hope8 as my first tournament. Going to go to Fight Pitt 5 soon, too! If I could get out further I'd try for more tournaments in my region, and maybe even across state.
Outside of Smash, my main hobbies are video games, mostly PS3 and Nintendo consoles. Picking up Bayonetta 2 in a few days, trying to stumble through Tales of Symphonia HD, and waiting very patiently for Dungeon Fighter Online's relaunch and Monster Hunter 4U next year.
I'm willing to play online with anyone, though we'd have to set aside time for me to set up a hotspot and get around my university's absurd security block on 3DSes. Once Smash 4 Wii U comes out, I have a wired adapter and it bypasses the wireless security entirely so that will facilitate playing.
I hope to meet a lot of you at tournaments!
