Key Spike

I picked up G&W recently, and he's da best. But I'm still confused as to where on the key you have to hit for the spike. I read in the thing that it has to be done in the opening frames... but is there anything else to it besides that? Pleaseandthanks.

possibly in the head, the key hits them upwards, just like ylinks dair. and it spikes when he hits them in the head,. so maybe it applies for him too.

This is a good move...i try to use it from time to time. BigD knows. Its the key to the city.

You have to hit near the handle of the key, where G&W is holding it. Also, you have to be practically inside the other character for it to work. It works best if you're hanging on the edge then let go, jump, and key spike them as they're trying to recover.

Thanks, I was able to get it more consistantly at last night's smasfest, probably 3/4ths of the times I tried for it.
