Lego Pokémon is Coming in 2026

The Lego company has just announced that Pokémon will be receiving Lego sets at some point in 2026. You can check out the official page here and watch the official reveal video below:

Pokémon joins the ever growing list of Nintendo series that have been adapted into Lego format. Previous Nintendo series that have gotten Lego sets in recent years include Mario, Zelda, and Animal Crossing. Only time will tell if we receive even more Lego sets of other Nintendo franchises.

No it hasn't? You're probably thinking of Mega Bloks.

This is pretty shocking. They have partnered with mega blocks for years. I guess that’s coming to an end.

Given how good Lego designers are at replicating things, I can’t wait to see how much more accurate and in depth they go with the designs for sets. A lot of potential.

 

Wouldn't it just be like mario where's there's no minifigures and it;'s all just megabuilds?

I'm hoping that, with Z-A Legends coming out soon, they can promote it with an XY set. And my dream would be Xerneas and Yveteal (did I spell those right?) with Unova Pokemon League in the middle of it all. Pokemon Y was very important to me as my first RPG, unless you count Sonic flash games. Wouldn't really call myself a fan of the series, and I wouldn't buy the set if it did exist. But I would love for it to exist, if you get what I mean. That would bring me comfort.

I would, however, buy an Oshawott build. Or a Brock one. It would also kinda bang if they based a set on Smash's Pokemon Trainer (is that Red? The guy from the first game? I don't really know).

 

Literally the one reason for lego pokemon to exist would be minifigure scaled sets with pokemon trainers and locations from the games alobgside molded and brick build pokemon!
Otherwise the better choice wouldve been to stick to megablocks!
