lucas vs sonic

IT'S A MYSTERY TO ALL
2Fast was my main training partner so this is probably one of my best matchups.
Basically as Lucas don't just throw out moves if you don't have to, keep neutral at mid-long range and pressure using DJC PKF, however, don't use it repeatedly in the same spot as sonic CAN run at you and beat it and hit you. SDI Uair behind him to avoid really long Uair chains. Don't attack him recklessly and avoid getting grabbed (especially at higher percents where, no matter how you DI, he will get a follow up and kill you) Make sure your tech game is up to stuff to avoid unnecessary combos. Punish spindashes with either a DJC Fair (Retreating works well) Dair, (Good as a combo starter) or Nair ( if you really want to end pressure) Avoid throwing out grabs unless you KNOW you'll grab him. Practice combos so they're air tight and Sonic can't just UpB out of them.

actually lucas can be played agaisnt sonic if u can land the pk freeze with his down b then go for the nair or dair. ALSO when u see him charging up his spin shield and he will go above u and u can land a free smash (this is for bots). Agaisnt someone land the pk freeze and nair and dair till your heart contendes when he up bs to recover back air that big ***** and kill him

Thanks for the video. This video really shows that sonic is not difficult to fight and that most of his tricks are just gimmicks that can all easily be beaten.
