The Super Smash Club of Edinboro is hosting their second tournament, Super Smash Boro 2, this Saturday, March 21st, at Dearborn Hall on Edinboro University's campus!
Venue opens at noon, tournament begins at 1. Please be there BEFORE 1 for sign-ups if you're entering an event. Also, if you're a student, I'll have a sheet there for you to sign to recognize yourself as a member of the club so I can take it to the SGA.
EVENTS
Events run:
Super Smash Bros for Wii U Singles
Super Smash Bros Melee Singles
Event will be streamed, hopefully will have matches from both on stream.
Stream link: www.twitch.tv/borosmash
ENTRY FEE
Entry fee: $3 per event
No venue fee, so you can come and play friendlies if there's an open setup if you don't want to compete.
Bring your own controllers, there will be a few available for rental but not too many. Melee only supports Gamecube controllers, but Wii U supports Wiimote, Wiimote and Nunchuk, Wiimote and Classic Controller, and Wii U Pro Controller, so if you have one of those you can use it.
RULES
Melee Ruleset: http://pastebin.com/c058Q6Jn
Smash 4 Ruleset: http://pastebin.com/h79J5nAh
LOCATION
Dearborn Hall, 205 Darrow Rd., Edinboro, PA 16412
PARKING
As far as I know, you need to go to the Campus Police office near the entrance to the school (911 Scotland Road, Edinboro, PA 16444) and get a Visitor's Parking Pass to park in the parking lot across from McComb Fieldhouse, but you could ask the police about where to park.
If you're bringing a setup, you can drive up to Dearborn, drop it off, and then go park unless they let you park in the parking lot in front of Dearborn.
This is only our second tournament, so please forgive us if we run into some issues along the way, particularly with time as after 9 anyone still around needs to be signed in at the front desk (University policy) or they'll give us a headache.
Registration and collecting entry fee occurs at the door to the event.
Come on up and smash with us!
