Brawl on November 9
Time = 3PM till 10PM each day

Venue is 103 George Cultural Lounge located in East part of campus inside Findlay Commons
finalizing paperwork for that to be venue.

Tourney will be held in Cultural Lounge in Findlay Commons located in D7 labeled E4 on map.

Has one Tv and chairs I will bring copy of Melee and Brawl. Additional TV's and wii's would be of great help.

$5 venue fee money will be given to Thon What is THON? good cause and will make securing a venue easier
All other events set at $10 with pot working 1st 60% 2nd 30% 3rd 10%

Additional Possible events include Crew Battles and possible Halo 3
Many good restaurants near venue that we can go to as group after tournament.

I would kill for brawl tournys at main campus, thats only 45 minutes away and theres no tournys ever around here. Plus if its on weekends i can go party afterwards XD Get some of the guys from Teched Out Enterprises into it I'm sure they will be down cause they are from the area.

Aight sounds good. Its a start have my crew of like 4-5 plus semi-smash group I can get a hold of. What are Tech Out Enterprises contact info.

Wish I saw this topic before the other one. I'm in teched out enterprises. There are only 3 of us in central PA (we're mostly NEPA), but people back home said they would drive down if there is a tournament in state college. Just try to give them a few weeks notice so they can take off work and they will try to get down here.

Of course, if they do come down here... we should crew battle. unless you don't mind 3on3, then we could do one sooner...

I have about 4-5 competitive smashers i could bring, not including myself. Then there are a few people who I'm sure would be down to come play but I've never actually played them to gauge their skill or anything. Hell between Umbra, Dobs, and I we could probably pull about 15-20 people right there. Hell yeah

Aight this is starting to come together nicely prob be a two day event melee one day brawl the other just have to see attendance and time constraints. Crew battle would be fun I have crew 3 for brawl and 5 for melee.

Venue would be somewhere on PSU Campus either in social lounge common area IST Building/Hub working on finding a place to host. When I secure place I'll post along with map of area so it will be easy to find.

This tourny should be fun, it doesn't seem like there are gonna be monsters there like m2k and what not so it will be cool to play everyone. Is doubles gonna be there? I got a partner I wouldn't mind shreding with

Ya events are Melee Singles/ Brawl Singles and doubles for each game if time permits have to see how long I can book venue for.

The only problem you may have is parking. I know you can park at the HUB garage for like a $1 an hour, but thats still a walk from Findlay commons. And I dont know how long they let you park. Findlay commons is at east halls. If you need help getting up here, your more than welcome to call me 412-855-1473.

Holy crap on a crappin' stick, this is the best news from Smash I've heard in awhile. All I have to say is that I hope this will be the first of many tournaments, because the State College area NEEDS it. The best I can do to help out is I know a lot of people around here who play Brawl, and I'll pass the word around about this. And since I live in the immediate area, I might be able to do a TV, might be able to do a Wii/w Brawl. Ah, I'm all excited at the possible concept of tournies being held up here on a regular basis. Well, I'm hoping anyways, and if there's some way I can help let me know.

Oh, and to the people around the State College area, I would love to play you guys in some friendlies. Actually, if you've been to West commons on a Friday evening, there's a chance you've seen me (also known as Jawbone) there hanging with the casual players. (These guys are a freakin' blast to be around, but sadly, brawl wise, there's only small handful of people there who provide a fierce 1v1.)

Closing words before I pass out at the keyboard because I'm falling asleep at the keyboard, I want to see how this develops and I hope I can be involved in a good way for the brawl portion. ^_^

There is parking near East too in a garage Parking should not be too bad because away football weekend. I can post details about parking if that helps. And Violent-D you go to PSU?

In this link you can find all info about parking additional there is a parking lot I know of downtown on Pugh Street that is not listed in this info. http://www.transportation.psu.edu/parking/visitor/where.shtml#lots but you shouldn't have a problem parking in one of these spots East Deck is closets to venue.
