More than one boomerang on the field at once?

I was in training mode using Link and Zelda, and I threw a boomerang at Zelda and reflected it with Nayru's Love. Then I was able to immediatly throw another rang out while the other one was still on the field after being reflected. I haven't tried this with other characters who have the ability to reflect projectiles. Kinda useless I guess, unless reflected.

The reflected bomberang becomes under their possession. It's their projectile after that.

It won't hit them. It'll hit you.

Yes very semi pointless...

Ive come to the conclusion. Only useful in team battle.
Fox reflects right back after zelda reflects. then you throw another.

Why waste the time to do that? Just go double Link in teams. Spam boomerangs. YAY 2 BOOMERANGS ON THE FIELD AT ONCE!

double rangs happens when it gets shined, reflected or power sheilded.

someone smashbuster this one, use marths or roys counter link rangs.

i havent really looked into marths and roys countering rangs.

I usually use this and throw a second boomerang just as my opponent reflects the first one. They usually reflect at an upwards angle and go really slow, so you don't really have to worry about them hitting you.

Its not really a useful tactic unless its for the mindgames.

So if you want double rangs then just do double links.

What I like to do in teams on a stage with platform generally is to drop the bomb on the platform so my teammate can grab it. Its the sex.

If your far away from him and he reflects a rang or bomb the best option is to grab a bomb or throw a rang.

though if you're mid-range and he reflects a projectile, thier are other moves better than throwing another rang or bomb.

You can grab him, go in for a scrah or fair/nair.

bottom line.
Far from him - throw rang or bomb after opponent reflects.
Mid-Range - grab, scrah or fair/nair after he reflects.
