Doc generally being a slow and slightly heavy character, is there any particular known techs or movement options that could possibly speed up his overall stage presence and gameplay? Would Perfect Pivoting help him or is it completely useless on him? If it is not much of an issue I would also like to discuss his approach options alongside of his possible movement options.

He has some platform mobility with cape dash, but other than that dr.mario's grounded mobility is probably his greatest weakness. SHFF back airs are good for spacing though.

Can you explain his cape dash because I have never heard of it before?

Since Doc is so slow you need to make a wall in front of him, so short hop back airs and reverse Ftilts work fine. Also, foxtrotting away and cancelling into a dash attack in the opposite direction can surprise opponents and poke their shields.

So foxtrotting is a good method to practice and utilize on doc?
