Those matches contain 8 Lucario vs Dedede friendlies. I'm aware that I wasn't playing good in the first, I think I managed to get my game up in the last few. It were the first matches of the day anyway (johns :D).

The first match of this tourney set was pretty much he not killing me and paying for it. The second match I played really badly, too hesitant, because I don't have any Kirby experience besides like 2 matches before, I was letting things happen to me too much. Match 3 I got more in control, well look for yourself. Still not very good I think, I can play better than that.



Overall I think there are some nice matches in there, enough to give you a good impression of my Lucario. The best ones I think aren't yet uploaded, but some of the later Dedede friendlies are allright too. Keep in mind I was also trying out some new things, this are only friendlies after all.

There will be coming some more Dedede friendlies, a pot-split final with some joke matches, and a tourney set with me ****** a dedede and then metaknight as well, so look for that. Thanks.

I didn't watch all of them, but I'd say you use too much Fair and BAS, which can be punished somewhat easily. Also, stop jumping where you don't do an aerial and almost try to fake an approach, that stuff will get punished easily by Marth and Snake. Your overall weakness is that you're not aggressive enough, and when you do attack, you become predictable. You roll and shield almost with regularity, and I'm surprised that the DDD did not land any dash grabs. Good Lucario, but you might want to work on a strategy and keeping yourself original yet strong.

I only wtached the first video suggested. I noticed that the DDD each stock did a chaingrab on you. For that you should adapt and send out some little AS. Also whenever I play a heavy weight character like DDD (also Ike, Bowser, Donkey Kong etc.) I always try to start off with the Forward B chaingrab. This works nice. Nice Lucario by the way!

dont get grabbed against dedede so much. also, you seemed to try to combo out of your up throw a lot, but the enemy can just attack you immediately after you do it, so dont try to jump after them. At low percents i think you can combo a utilt out of it. I'll also agree with pillowpants in that you should utilt more. you can do a pretty easy utilt->utilt->utilt->upair at low percents, especially against dedede.

other than that, i would reccomend using more charged aura spheres, it saw a couple of opprotunities where you could have charged it after you knocked him off, but instead just like jumped once as if preparing to edgeguard, then land and jump again and then actually edgeguard.

Wow, that Dedede player has a lot of holes in his match against you! I watched all the vids you had and I must commend your honest efforts, especially in the last few matches. Who knew this particular D3 would get predictable with that chain grab? Not to mention throwing out forward smash, knowing full well it won't hit. I was surprised in the first few matches you ran into it. At one point you made up for it by punishing it. Nice!
