need help with sheik

well i am a noob to begin with lol but when i play a game i do my best to be all i can be in it.i started to play ssbm seriously when me and my friends decided we were just gonna play for fun i got a whupping from everone i got really mad so i looked on the computer if i can find a good site to learn techs and new stuff and what are high teir charecters. so now i main sheik and fox.
im not that bad considering i have been playing this game for only 2months and a couple of days i can l-cancel all my moves and i do and i know alot of things but i need some freaking mind games lmao i dd and stuff like that but my friend seems to know what im gonna do any way. can some 1 show me some vids about some mind games with sheik and stuff like that.

They're hard to teach, you really have to just observer what you're opponent is doing and be able to react accordingly. Try to find where you're game is predictable and adjust. It basically comes from experience so just keep practicing. Mind games are something all pros have but Drephen in particular is very good. Don't focus on your own character but instead try to watch your friend. As far as specifics go, work on your tech chasing i guess. Can't really give you mind games.

well off the top of my head there's Drephen's and Seibrik's and I there's a combo video featuring Forward but I don't if he put it together himself. There's also that thread about "the best sheik?"

oh yea i watched some of forward's vids on youtube i also watched c. jack's sheik it was ok. oh and by any chance can u make a vid or tell me about a vid to teach me how to shino stall? pl0x =P oh and can u tell me whats very important to learn with sheik so i can practice more besides shffling and wave dashing causei know how to do those plz and ty =)

Behold I am the one who predicts you! I could tell you that mindgames is something you have to learn and experience on your own but you probably already know that.

Mindgames is tricking your opponent, often to put them in an unfavorable situation. Try running at someone and wavedashing back. If they respond to the dash and attempt to attack you, punish their lag. That is all I can tell you really, it isn't something that can be taught by someone else. Just think strategically about forcing your opponents making mistakes and putting them into unfavorable positions, that is what mindgames are all about. Remember, think hard.

captain jack's and seibrik's tutorials both cover shino stalling, and I think shack's "sheik ****" also. searching should bring up several threads on how to do it.
