I've been fascinated with making potential new playlists for songs in currently existing and not yet added franchises in Smash Bros. lately, so I'm making a thread for everyone to throw in their ideas. Of course, I'm not just gonna let you list entire soundtracks; there needs to be limits and genuine thought put into this.
For franchises with fifteen or more entries, there will be a limit of 200 songs. Massive franchises like Mario, Pokémon, and Touhou will have an extended limit of 350 songs. Any franchise with between ten and fifteen entries will have a limit of 100 songs. There will be exceptions such as Five Nights at Freddy's, where four of the games only had stock SFX and music, and eight had music made specifically for those games. Ask me if you're not sure how many songs a series can have. Franchises with five to ten entries will only get 50 songs, franchises with two to five games get 20 songs, and those with only one get 10. These rules may change over time if I feel like I allowed too much. Obviously you don't have to reach this limit, it's just there for you to think if you're obsessed with music like me and want too many songs to appear in Smash.
TL;DR:
Large franchise = 350 songs
15+ games = 200 songs
10-14 games = 100 songs
5-9 games = 50 songs
2-4 games = 20 songs
1 game = 10 songs
Please explain your selections if you can, especially medleys and sometimes remixes. I will do the same.
You may include victory themes, but please explain what each one is for if you include multiple.
