what noobs. like melee is going anywhere. brawl is gonna suck for competitive play. im sure people will play it competitivly anyway but itll be nothing like melee.

dude, quit complaining, brawl is here and just like SSB64, melee is going to take backseat to brawl. Starting to play melee now is like getting a gameboy color the day the ds came out. play brawl, get good, post on that. your from NY dude, i personally expect better things than this.

ok for my friend that called me a noob over there, my falcon will **** your face 8 ways to sunday. brawl of course will take over for melee but still, it just looks ridiculously slow. unless you do some high gravity mode or somethin that i saw on youtube. and so wat if im from new york? its gay anyways. xcpect the bare minimum of new yorkers. they will dissapoint and let u down. but watever.

Brawl does play a bit slower than Melee at the moment. This is not unexpected at all though. It took multiple years for Melee to reach the speed that it is played at now. New things are still being discovered to this day in Melee. It will take multiple years for Brawl to develop. When Melee first came out, people said the exact same thing about it that people like you are saying about Brawl now. There is no difference between then and now. It is only a matter of time.
New York is one of the top smasher spots in the world. That is why it is normally assumed that a New York player is at least decent at the game and knows what they are talking about, and why people were surprised to hear that you are from New York.

im going to be blunt but honest: you aren't in the same league as some of us
you have a **** load of cfalcon vs samus vids, a really hard counter against samus, so i didn't bother watching those
i saw u against sheik, it's far from impressive, not even close to intimidating. You don't combo well/if at all, and your approach is you randomly lunging from one end of the stage to the other with nairs, dairs, and raptor boosts.
if i played you, i would three stock you with mewtwo, that isn't cockiness, that is fact
your talk is alot bigger than your game... for melee
now, if you want to follow my advice, when brawl comes out, play that instead, it will take you a while to get decent at melee, whereas brawl, everyone will be on the same page, and you'll probably have more people to play with.
so far, this is the nicest i've been to someone whose called me out online. Mostly cause im getting tired of the game, and it's wearing out. But for old times sake:

Do you think you could beat the #1 Bowser or the #1 G&W or the #1 Kirby in the world?
Are you in the top 10 - 15 Falcons in the world? Would you be able to get more than thirty other people to back that up? I will tell you right now that the people you are talking to, Quak and Renth, are both top 5 Mewtwo and Ganon respectively. They also live in California and Florida. If you think you can beat them solely because your character is higher tier, you will be in for a very rude awakening. Both of these people can beat 95%+ of all Falcons on Smashboards.
If you come onto a board and say you can beat people, what does that accomplish? Unless you are willing to come and prove it, the words are meaningless. What could we reply, other than saying no you can't? It just creates a meaningless squabble. So unless you have intent to show the people you are talking to that you can indeed beat them, don't bother posting that you can.
Also, do not hate Brawl because it isn't Melee. Don't play it expecting Melee. It is a whole new game, and a good game at that. Play it and have fun. Go pro if you can.

well i cant back it up. unless you guys came over here. cuz like i said, im 15. so i cant go no where. still, i played my friends brothers who are ace marth and killafox, i dont know if you guys have heard of them, well yea so the beat me, but that was like 2 months ago. so im pretty sure i can beat u seeing as i almost beat them 2 months ago. i just get better and better, no stoppin me. oh i didnt mean he would have to play him first i meant that if he came over HERE to visit HIM then i could go over THERE and play with THEM. i didnt mean it like he had to play pc, but why would he come here to play me? he dont know me, he dont know if i even live here, everyone knows about PC so if he went to chill wit him then he would definatley see me.
