Second game to get a 10/10 since the magazine started its out of 10 rating system again. First was Metroid Prime 3. First game to get a 10/10 under the new management.

Just so everyone knows, NP rarely gives 10/10s even for Nintendo's own games. They're pretty unbiased for the most part. Just go look up some scores they gave for popular Wii games (MP3, Galaxy, and TP would be nice choices to look for). So, don't go thinking that this doesn't mean anything.

Yeah I'm glad they gave it a 10, unlike Mario Galaxy which was arguably as good as Metroid Prime 3. It wasn't any surprise though.

Of course, this game is going to get high ratings. Just because it's rated lower than 10/10 or 5/5 or whatever scale they're going by, doesn't mean that the reviewer is stupid like so many people here are claiming. I have a huge feeling that this game will disappoint.

I'm waiting for EGM. When I used to read their $hit...I think they gave the readers some pretty honest reviews...A few were questionable but for the most part EGM was the most releiable to me in my opinion. 2ND I'm waiting for IGN to review it. Come on lets be honest we saw a 10/10 rating coming from Nintendo Power.

Well, that was a nice surprise... I just hope this trend can continue, especially with the high profile reviewers. It would be lovely if every high-profile reviewer was singing praises about this game, since this game really seems deserve it. Also, it would be great if it could overtake Ocarina of Time in all of the decisive rating websites! Brawl would be a worthy successor, no?

Please, PLEASE don't let anyone from a huge website like IGN or whatever be into Competitive Melee...

I usually only care about EGM and GI's reviews, but I was getting Brawl regardless. Seeing how Nintendo Power has become more of a serious magazine, though, I'll take their review with some merit.
