A Super Smash Bros. Melee biweekly in northern Tel-Aviv (Benyamin mi-Tudela 32)!
Takes place every other Thursday!
Stream: http://www.twitch.tv/kiminewt
Rankings: http://sandpr.com/g/npz
Our FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/399778680218846/?fref=ts
Challonges: http://npz.challonge.com/
These tournaments have been going on for a while, and we usually have 10-15 participants each time. It's a small but dedicated community.
Everyone is welcome to join-- visitors, newbies, veterans and even completely new players!
There is no fee to participating, but there is also no prize money. We have both on major tournaments which occur roughly once a season. All matches are counted towards the NPZ rankings, however.
Feel free to just show up or let me know here or on the FB group that you're coming. We usually start playing friendlies around 7pm (before the tourney) and will continue playing friendlies for a while after.
Directions:
Just use Google Maps to arrive, but the place is located close to the Tel-Aviv University (need to take a quick bus from there, usually 42 but there are others) or the Beni-Brak station (a 1km walk from there). The actual venue is in the second floor of a store, you may have to knock loudly for us to hear you (or otherwise just text/fb message us)!
You can also post the place you're coming from on the FB group and might get a ride from there/train station.
Looking forward to seeing any players!
Newt.
