PM + Brawl EX Crashes when custom character dies

I recently installed the Dante for PM Mod to my copy of PM + EX, everything works perfectly except whenever Dante dies the game crashes. The actual fighter's files (pacs, modules, SFX, etc.) are automatically inserted through a compiled installation via an installer to prevent an incorrect installation of the character, so I don't think its something wrong with the fighter itself. However I also can't find any signs of the game crashing because of the inserts I was left to do myself either. All of the CSP and Results Screen files run as they should and I've looked over all of the stock icons in-game and on the results screen to confirm that everything looks as it should (also worth noting that the stocks and BP for the character both appear normally while in-game). Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
