Project M Ex Trouble

I’m not sure if anyone can help, PMEX V 0.51 is pretty old now, but if anyone knows why ex modules aren’t functioning on the iishiruka build of dolphin please let me know. So far even if I make a one to one clone of a character, everything works up until the character is supposed to make their entry. If they’re first player the game crashes at the stage select l, if they’re second player it crashes after p1 makes their entrance. I’m at loss, if anyone can help I’ll really appreciate it.
