Regarding TL and his Bair combo using C-stick for bairs

I finally decided to start using the C-stick for air attacks (I never utilized it in Melee since Link's air control wasn't that great anyway) - It's definitely a change that is sorely affecting my performance, but I'm assuming I just need to practice some more so I can get used to it - I can already see how it would be a god send in this floaty *** game via giving you more control over aerial control.

Anyway, I was noticing, at least with chain attacks such as TL's bairs, that I was getting the same problem that people were getting with smashes with the C-stick - that being my bairs weren't coming out as fast as I would have liked to due to the C-stick needing to return entirely to the middle.

I'm wondering if using the C-stick for aerials is that great of an idea anymore - or maybe I should mainly use it for spacing singular attacks and just use the analog stick for doing aerials in quick succession? (SH bair bair, SH bair bair, etc)

I'm practicing both either way - I just want to hear if anyone else has my problem and/or if it's just best to stick with analog aerials.

I would stick with analog for aerials, solely because I like to set the C-stick to special, allowing wavebouncing and auto-RARing. Though I wish I could use these with smashes or aerials to make it a little easier, I find that the ATs that setting the C-stick to specials outway that disadvantage.

Same here orion, I use c-stick for specials and auto rar a lot with TL, wolf, and Ike, it's definitely worth it to retain so much momentum and still have to use analog for ariels.

I like the C-Stick for aerials not necessarily because of the speed at which they come out, but because of the complete versatility over aerials that it gives me. Retreating Fairs, non FF'd Dairs, and FF'd Uairs are incredibly useful to my playstyle. Plus, using the analog ever so slightly changes my DI while in the air, so I try to avoid it as much as possible except for moving in the directions I want in the air. I'm good enough at RARing that I don't feel the need to utilize the auto-RAR that B-Sticking affords, nor do I use specials near as much as I do aerials/smashes, and I still don't see an extraordinary use for wavebouncing, so I'll just stick to my regular C-Stick.

Basically, get used to the C-Stick, and see what you think then. Maybe using the analog is a better idea for quicker aerials, but you won't know until you're used to both methods.
