Sheik verse the DOC

My friend is the Doc...And I know this is sad, but sometimes I just have a lot of trouble beating him. He uses crouch cancel a fair amount and abuses d-smash and u-smash and dash attack..It's seriously annoying..I am teching on all my falls, but it doesn't help that much..He likes to dash a lot though >: < So any tips on beating him?

yeah i do that..but i guess i need to just time it right...cuz he pops out of stuff really fast..and he sidesteps a lot

Can you use c-stick out of crouch? Or do you have to use down-a?

You can use the C-Stick.

Sheiks Dsmash > Doc's Dsmash. Nuff' said.

Sheik's may be stronger...But Doc has one of the faster D-smash's in the game

Ummm, Doc's is stronger, it has more knock back. And Doc is a harder matchup for Sheik since he can combo her easier, chain grab, etc. U have to play "gay" against him. needles when hes far and ur foward tilts should out reach all his moves. As long as hes not a Pill Spammer or Chain Grabber to foward smash/fair u shouldn't have too much trouble.

Do you usually tech away from Doc, or towards him?

Grabs can't be crouch cancelled. Grabs leads to tilts. Tilts will lead to fairs/uairs.

AP- I usually tech away from Doc, but I change it up a bit to avoid prediction.
Frozen- I can't always get a grab off, and when I do and try to tilt he already has DI'd away

If he DI's away you should still be able to hit him.

whenever i crouch against dash, i slide...so i cant do it when im sliding
