Smash Bros. Patch v1.0.4 Full Changes Discovered

Several people in the Smashboards community have been hard at work discovering all of the changes that have been added to Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U in patch v1.0.4. Lead by Moderator @SamuraiPanda, the community is confident that they have found nearly all changes from the patch. If you're looking to understand exactly how your character has changed since v1.0.3, you're in the right place!

Tons of characters have seen changes - read up!​

Big changes include:

• DI returns
• DACUS removed
• Shulk's everything does more damage
• Bowsercides lose you the game

I mean, it's kinda strange having all the -cides not win the match, but it's something to adjust to. Also, any buffs to Shulk are good!

Jeez, I remember going through the mess to explain Link's Fast-Falled Dair. Goes to show how little people knew of Link in Brawl, mainly due to the fact that most people mained the top-half of the tier list. Also shows why it's important to use proper grammar on the internet.

Why would Nintendo remove DACUS? Doing so implies they don't value advanced techniques that require practice (or depth in general).

DACUS was only for some characters like how it was in Brawl.

Also, I like the update.Though I'm sad that some characters didn't get needed buffs like Doc, Wii Fit, Olimar, and Charizard. Some even got nerfs.

To clear up some info, Bowserside does not necessarily lose you the game (ie Bowser doesn't always die first).
It's actually stage dependent now. I even tweeted this info out to Smashboards and those guys retweeted it. Shame, shame.

Those Shulk buffs seem to be working wonders because I've been seeing more Shulks online recently, I've been using him more myself.

I do feel like the buffs and nerfs were kinda schizophrenic. I mean, did Shulk really feel need 1% buffs to all of his moves? Some of Rosalina's nerfs just don't make sense. What about characters in need of buffs like Dr. Mario? Meanwhile, Diddy is still killing people at 60%.
