Yeah I know Call of Duty hasn't had a Nintendo port since Black Ops 2 (so like 6 years ago), yeah I know that its Call of Duty and so unless someone from Treyarch basically begged Nintendo to do it wouldn't happen, and yeah I know that choosing a character from a "side mode" would make for a massive "Literally Who?" rage-fest but f*ck it I'm going for it.

For those of you who have no clue who this dude is (and to be honest I can't blame you), you'll probably Google him and immediately think "Hell no" because he's a Call of Duty character. But some of the crazy sh*t that's happened in his story (time-travel, jumping between different universes, elemental staffs, flipping Ray Guns and Zombies) would give him a lot of potential for abilities, plus he wouldn't any more out of place than Snake. This is mostly for my own amusement but I genuinely believe there is at-least something here for an interesting moveset, even if the character himself has no chance of being included at all.

Doctor Edward Richtofen

Neutral Special - "Ray Gun Blast!"
Richtofen fires three shots from his trusty Ray Gun, each shot does slightly more damage than the last. Constant use of this attack will decrease the Ray Gun's damage over time, requiring Richtofen to place his shots carefully.

Side Special - "Summoning Stun!"
Richtofen uses the power of the Summoning Key to pull any enemies or items closer towards him. Anyone caught will be stunned for a short moment.

Up Special - "Baby Whelp"
The ever so adorable Baby Dragon from Gorod Krovi lifts Richtofen up into the air before letting him go. Whelp will breath flames at anyone who dares attack Richtofen while he is holding on.

Down Special - "Who Doesn't Love A Monkey?"
Richtofen plants a Cymbal Monkey on the ground (or if in the air, throws one below him). The Monkey will play a brief tune before exploding if left alone, any players who come in contact with it however will trigger the explosion early.

Final Smash - "Primis Prevails!"
Richtofen and his three allies (use the combined strength of the four Elemental Staffs. Basically this f*cking instant KO's any poor sod who was caught in the blast.

Taunts:
  • "The Doctor will see you shortly!"
  • Richtofen takes a sip from a random perk bottle, his reaction changes depending on which one it was (i.e. he'll be happy if it was Juggernog or Speed Cola but will be cough if it was PhD Flopper, etc).
  • Richtofen inspects the Summoning Key for a moment before putting it back in his pockets.
Entrance Animation:
  • Richtofen steps out of a portal (which quickly closes behind him) and draws his Ray Gun.
Victory Animations:
  • Richtofen holds out the Summoning Key, staring at it intently while occasionally smirking at the camera.
  • Richtofen tinkers around with the Ray Gun before looking at the camera.
  • Richtofen laughs manically before composing himself with a guilty look on his face.

Ta-da. What a waste of 30 minutes...

Shame... No Wunderwaffe. As detailed in World at War and Black Ops 1, the Wunderewaffe is Richtofen's invention and wonder weapon of choice.

Cool moveset though.
