Specials
Neutral Special: Drum Beating
Rillaboom takes out bass drum, then beats it to summon a pair of roots which moves across the ground.
Upon releasing "B" or hitting an opponent, the bass drum's roots will attack, lowering the target's speed.
If used while mid-air, the bass drum's roots unleash a flurry downwards, hitting anyone below Rillaboom.
(Origin: Pokémon Sword & Shield)
Side Special: Acrobatics
Rillaboom briefly enters the "Crouch Start" position, then glows light blue while rolling forward at high speed.
Any opponent that he rolls into will be rapidly attacked from all sides, then finished off with one of four kicks.
If inputted backwards, Rillaboom rolls backward as he leaves behind an afterimage, then performs a fast slap.
(Origin: Pokémon Black & White)
Up Special: Boomburst
Rillaboom takes out his bass drum, then strikes it hard to create a powerful soundwave that pushes opponents.
The soundwave can break any opponent's shield, phase through counter/ reflect moves and destroy projectiles.
If used in mid-air, Rillaboom fires the soundwave straight downward, using his bass drum as a makeshift rocket.
(Origin: Pokémon X & Y)
Down Special: Grass Pledge
Rillaboom thrusts forward with both hands, creating a tornado of leaves that lingers onstage for 15 seconds.
The tornado deals multihit damage, then sends them skyward. Holding "B" will conjure three leaf tornadoes.
Using Boomburst on the leaf tornado will push it forward, in addition to making the tornado stay for longer.
(Origin: Pokémon Black & White)
Shield Special: Grassy Terrain
Rillaboom smacks both of his drumsticks together thrice, creating a dome of natural energy around himself.
This changes the properties of his moves, but also makes a medium patch of grass that gradually heals him.
However, Grassy Terrain is only active for 35 seconds at a time and cannot be performed after using it thrice.
(Origin: Pokémon X & Y)
Final Smash: G-Max Drum Solo
Rillaboom takes out his bass dram and beats it, summoning large and spiky roots to attack both sides of himself (Frenzy Plant).
Any opponents struck by the roots are sent to Wyndon Stadium. Upon their arrival, they see Rillaboom as he enlarges himself.
Once Rillaboom is in his Gigantamax Form, he rapidly beats his drum, summoning several large roots to attack the opponents.
