Tactical and Smart Sheik?

You know the little sprinkles you had on your ice
There is a differencem mainly seen in the fighting styles. A smart Sheik will usually go in, leaving no opening, and keep the pressure on, until they can get in a strong blow, then they back off. Their technical skills go with the attack.

A tactical Sheik will stay back, and take a more leisurely approach to the matchup. They will watch their opponents fighting style closely, and look for patterns in their fighting style, as well as keeping damage to a minimum. They will use those holes to their advantage, and bait the opponent into an attack, and usually a combo. There have been some cases where it was a one hit KO from zero percent. Usually tactical Sheiks are smart Sheiks, but their technical skills go with the baiting.

I may have exagerrated a bit, but that's usually what I see.

I **** all my friends as Sheik.

Then again, they're scrubs, and I'm not calling myself a pro or anything, I'm still just a scrub, but one who's positively learning and practicing advanced techs and mindgames.

If by scrubs you mean that you aren't very good by "advanced" Smash terms, then of course you own, you play Sheik >_>;

Yeah, I'm sure I would still **** them all as Sheik WITHOUT advanced moves, since it's Sheik, like you said.

Would just like to note, they aren't very good at the game at all, and I'm no vet, myself. Not yet, anyways.

The Downsmash Sheik.

That response made me happy. :laugh:

On topic... I don't see why there would be a difference between and smart sheik and a tactical sheik. A smart sheik is tactical and vice versa. It's just a matter of knowing what you're capable of, finding out what your opponent can do and then ****** them.

They meant offensive vs defensive styles of play. Both are smart and tactical. They just wanted to make themselves seem like they had more to say. Call them out on it.

as sheik, i don't shorthop all the time. i use it sparingly. i do wavedash, only in retreat from my opponent. yes that's running towards, then wavedashing backwards to retreat from them so they attack or not opening a "hole" as said above. i fast fall, depending on how my opponent plays.

but all in all, i definitely watch my opponent. all the time,
