STAGE STRIKING/BANNING AND FIGHTER SELECT
Assume players ABCD where it is AB vs. CD
For the first game, stage striking goes by player order in this format: ACDB
Players then choose their fighters simultaneously. If either player feels they are being counterpicked they may request a double blind pick from the TO.
For game 2, the winners of game 1 may ban THREE stages from counterpick list, then the losers selects a stage to play.
Then the winners of game 1 choose their fighters, followed by the losers choosing their fighters.
For game 3+, same rules as game 2 except the loser of the last game cannot choose a stage they have already won on so the winner does not have to use a ban on it. (Dave's stupid rule)
SUICIDE CLAUSE
For all suicide moves that end a game. The result will be determined by the game ending screen. In the case a suicide move (bowsercide) causes both players to die simultaneously causing a sudden death round, the winner will be the player that initiated the suicide move. (So if a bowsercide causes a sudden death, then the bowser player wins)
GENTLEMAN'S CLAUSE:
Players are not allowed to play on a non legal stage even if both teams agree.
STALLING CLAUSE:
Stalling is banned: The act of stalling is intentionally making the game unplayable. Stalling tactics include but are not limited to becoming invisible, continuing infinites, chain grabs, or uninterruptible moves past 300%, and reaching a position that your opponent can never reach you. Any action that can prevent the game from continuing
(i.e., pausing, freeze glitches, disappearing characters, game reset, etc.) will result in a forfeit of that match for the player that initiated the action. You are responsible for knowing your own character, and must be wary about accidentally triggering one of these effects.
