The Bowser Board GSPs, Scores, and Records: Who Has The Biggest Number?

Topic creator's note: GSPs are dumb and the only reason it's in the game is most likely because some big wig on the development team coughSakuraicough REALLY wanted to have it and wouldn't take no for an answer. This person is also dumb.

As such, the actual scores are more meaningful than the GSP, so feel free to leave it out if you want. Why? Well, after putting down my Smash Run GSP I noticed I hadn't connected to the Online yet today and after doing so my GSP jumped by roughly 30,000. Nailed it!

I guess I can't fault you for thinking that. And even though I didn't state it outright, the implication was that this was Bowser only records. I guess I could have also meant the records of the users of this board just as well.

Alright, I think I'll make a second list for non-Bowser records. Feel free to clarify and either post non-Bowser or Bowser records, whichever was the one you didn't post. I'm gonna assume you used Bowser, Flayl.

Anybody want to discuss Stadium strats? I think Bowser's Dash Attack is the best (and admittedly kind of boring) way to win multiple man smash. I kind of just randomly hit the bomb in Target Blast, haven't really tried to use a start there. For HRC I turn aorund, pick the bat up, BAir the sandbag, UTilt, and USmash 3x and try to position myself so the tip of the bat hits it while it's falling down.

Target Blast is just silly. About 50% is the sweet spot. It's mostly just a matter of figuring out the right time to hit it. Though if you hit it just right it'll sit on a platform so you don't even have to worry too much about the timer.

For Multi-Man I just spam DAir.

I don't even remember what I did for HRC. All I know is that Bowser is probably the worst for this mode.

Is it just me, or does the outcome of Smash Run not matter? I've played it many many times, won almost every Final Battle, but the score seems to be determined almost entirely by the amount of stats you've collected. Which is fine by me because I always seem to get Climb or Race when I have low Jump or Speed, respectively, but on the other hand, I'm constantly shafted by BS doors, deaths, and enemies. And I really can't figure out a good power set up to bring with me.

The score in Classic seems to go up everytime you hit the enemy. I suggest Jabbing for all it's worth, though I've yet to beat it on 9.0.

On Smash run I use a Speed/Attack Bowser and give him Super Armor/Healing. It helps against BS deaths and just keeps you alive. Smash Run is my jam.

When you customize what items you can activate on the field, two of the ones you can choose are "Super Armor" and "Healing." Healing comes in several varieties, and they're all good. Super Armor is exceptionally good for if you are going heavy and need to tank. It's not as important if you're just gonna run circles around your enemies with the rotating swords power and a speed build.

Yeah, I already mentioned how meaningless the GSP is. I could update this list every single day just doing that and nobody would even need to play the game to do it. Nintendo basically made the Segway of ranking systems. They looked at walking and said, you know what's overrated? Freakin' legs.

Nah, like Luminaire said, the Powers. I use one Lv. 4 Super Armor, a Lv. 1 Health Recovery, and a Lv. 2 Health Recovery. That gives you 4 super Armor uses and 6 chances to heal up.

I've improved some of my scores, but none enough to put me in first and I'm already in first for Endless, so.... pffff. :/

Should I make little trophies for top performers? I seriously got nothing better to do Smash related. Aside from trying to top my Endless score I don't even really play the game much.

In an important side note, Mike Tyson Mysteries is the greatest new show on AS.
