Hey guys! We already run The Break Smash Bi-Weekly, which runs every other FRIDAY in Dunellen:

Well now we want to try adding Smash 4 for the Wii-U into the main TUESDAY lineup! Why not run the event on Fridays with Melee? Well two reasons... Firstly, we really dont have the space to run two Smash events at the same time, especially if we get a lot of players. And secondly, Melee and Wii-U use different monitors/TVs, and it would be a pain to have to switch between them. All of our Tuesday games are already run on official EVO low-latency monitors; so we already have monitors to run Wii-U.
In case you don't know, we dont charge a venue fee at The Break. This means we can't afford to buy consoles to run the tournaments on. So we depend on you guys, the players in order to bring consoles/games/adapters each week. So if you plan on showing up, please consider bringing a setup for Smash Wii-U with you. We need consoles, games and controller adapters. If you want to bring monitors with you so we can have more than 4 setups, you can do that too!

TIME: 6:00 PM EST (every Tuesday)
- 7:00 PM - Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U ($10 entry)
- 9:00 PM - Ultra Street Fighter IV ($10 entry)
- 9:00 PM - Injustice: Gods Among Us ($10 entry)
Signup and casuals for events start as early as 6:00 PM EST. Make it on time! Because we run other games directly after smash, we will be starting on time. If you are going to be late, let us know in advance by calling the venue.
RULES:
- We run an experimental traditional FGC rule set.
- BYOC - BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLERS.
- Absolutely do not vandalize any of our equipment.
- We reserve the right to search anyone suspicious.
8 on the Break is a family fun arcade location. Absolutely no alcohol will be permitted on the premises. If you are caught drinking, or drunk, you will be escorted out, without refund. As well, no smoking is permitted within the arcade. Be clean and courteous; clean up after yourself. The venue is provided to us in good faith of our attendees.
