A few weeks ago, we announced that SSBMRank, the Super Smash Bros. Melee community’s source for rankings of top players worldwide since 2013, would be managed by Panda Global going forward. While there are a lot of new faces working on the Melee Panda Global Ranking, or MPGR, the methods of ranking are largely staying the same, with ballots continuing to play a large role in the ranking system.
On July 23rd, the MPGR published the results of ranks 50-41 on Red Bull’s official website. Over the next few weeks, Panda Global will alternate between Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Melee ranking releases until August 2nd when the top 10 Melee players of 2018 will be revealed.
