The game is a def a OW clone but still enough new characters with new concepts to feel fresh.

I just hope it doesn’t go the way of Marvel Future Revolution and Marvel Super Wars. They died and got shut down in roughly 2 years.

people better start buying skins and battle pass tokens asap
They are giving this game an actual advertising budget and are doing some pretty good PR for it, I have faith that this will stick around for a while, at least longer than something like Gundam Evolution (R.I.P.)

Popping in to ask: which version of Sonadow Generations would you recommend? I was thinking of getting the Switch version but I'm getting mixed messages on how it plays, so I'd like to hear from someone with more familiarity with it before deciding.
I played through the Switch version and aside from a few performance drops, it's very playable even in handheld mode (at least with Shadow Generations, I haven't done the same with Sonic Generations.)
I've never played a hero shooter.
Have you played TF2?
If so, then you have played a hero shooter.

It was back when Miyamoto could be said no to and then he got slapped on the wrist like a misbehaving child

Iirc Switch is the only one without a performance mode but PC has Denuvo on it because Sega still thinks that works despite how it objectively hurts PC games. The version I play on is ps5 and it's never even crashed or anything

On one hand I could join this as I actually got in Fate recently and am now playing Tsukihime. On the other hand I feel Quanxi surrounded by her girlfriends fits me too much
What is denuvo even supposed to do?

So apparently its reportedly that Disney is already working on an Moana 3.

I'll be cautiously optimistic.

Because unlike 2, this won't be what was suppose to be an Disney+ Series that was rushed and made into a jambled mess.

Plus given its based on Polynesian mythology, there's lot of world building and lore they can explore.

Since we're talking Pixar and hot takes...

The Good Dinosaur is great actually.

I will not elaborate :4pacman:

though there's a video on YouTube titled The Good Dinosaur Earns Everything which nails my thoughts to a T if you're willing to search it

The Good Dinosaur completely squandered the idea of dinosaurs managing to avoid extinction and continuing to evolve. It’s all just dinosaurs in the wild, like normal, but some of them have country accents.

It was complete and utter missed potential.

Which is why I’m gonna do the concept right :4wario2:

I'm a fan of Team Fortress 2, Paladins and Overwatch, and I've tried a few other Hero Shooters. The gameplay of all of them is fun, and the characters with their backstories bring a lot of life to each game, but the communities of the most popular ones are so large that there's more than several toxic people in them, sadly.

It's not helped by the fact that they're largely competitive games and that the companies who created most of them either eventually tend to neglect the games or, in the case of a company named after a certain type of weather pattern, are just a scummy company in general.

With that said, all of them are still running pretty well and TF2 has recently got some new life restored to it recently after the community made it clear that Valve needed to take action about the bots that were plaguing the game, and from what I've heard, said bots are mostly gone now, Paladins is still active and has less cheaters, and Overwatch 2 is doing a little better lately as the developers seem to be trying to listen to the playerbase a little more,. If you're ever curious, all three of those games are free-to-play, so they can played without needing to spend a dime or going through the hassle of trying to get a refund if you don't enjoy them.

I mean, true. I always found it weird that it focused mainly on the very early era of dinosaur society with them developing agriculture and essentially becoming cowboys. Sequels might've expanded on it, but after the film's failure in cinemas that's not gonna happen.

It's what it does as a standalone movie, removed from its admittedly misused premise, that draws me to it.

That said, I'm always open to see the ideas of people like you on how to expand on a world where dinosaurs never went extinct!

I really wish they just didn't retool the series into a sequel to begin with.

I wouldn't call it great, but it's still a decent film.

The biggest issue for me is that the story isn't nearly as compelling as that of every Pixar film not named Cars 2 prior to it.

Arlo and Spot's bond is sweet and the T-Rexes are cool, though.

I'm starting to wonder if Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link will ever fully release. It was announced in 2022 and the beta has been delayed multiple times this year with no new date.
The beta happened. It was the full release that was delayed.

Sometimes I get really tired of where I live.

I'd love to come live in America, there's so much to experience. So many great people to meet.

And lots of things there that are more than worth crossing the pond to experience.

Rose gardens! My flower-loving butt wants some pretty florals to admire and sniff at.
Theme parks! I really wanna build up my coaster quota.
Food! Especially the spicy stuff.
The opportunity to meet the people who made Puppy Dog Pals please please oh please...

The only drawback aside from the unavoidable political stuff is some of the terrifying bugs you poor people have over there (I've never seen a cockroach outside of a zoo and I hope things remain that way)

The thing that always bothered me about it is that the dinosaurs just haven't changed at all from an evolution perspective, they aren't even anthro, and that every dinosaur is treated like it had the capacity to evolve into sentient life. No, Sauropods and Tyrannosaurs would not evolve into talking society having creatures. At that point it's basically another talking animal movie like Secret Life of Pets or Barnyard or heck, Ice Age. And those movies are fine for what they are, but with this movie presenting itself as "what would have happened if the Dinosaurs didn't go extinct" it would have been better if they had actually known anything about dinosaurs.

I'm also extremely tired of where I live but America is not the first alternative that comes to mind at all.

Don’t go to Florida during lovebug season.

Or do, the consequences of mankind have dwindled their numbers by a lot. It’s a three month period where millions of bugs swarm the sky for mating season. It’s most noticeable when you’re driving and hundreds of flying bug corpses quickly pile on your windshield.
