Damn already half way through Krampus: The Yule Lord.

Such a good book! I only started last week and I'm half way done now. Lol.

I disagree, what the animated series did to drive stakes for a lot of Superman stories can very much work in live action, there's also countless stories like Superman Smashes the Klan where he can't just punch his way to victory too. Again, the issue with the past few decades of Superman movies is that they just weren't good like Man of Steel having Clark's dad say "No, do not save me, you need to become Jesus because being for truth, justice and the American way is for *******, now kill the bad guy at the end"

Also guess who turned 27
Belated on my part, but:

Happy Birthday, Gwen! And welcome to the club of 27 year olds. :4larry:

Nintendo has officially acknowledged the Wii U in 2024 by… making links in Nintendo Music for Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 that act as their respective Switch titles. Yes really.

Skyward Sword and Metroid Prime have the same deal but with their Switch titles acting as links to their originals.
Wii U will take any sort of acknowledgment they can get now that the 3DS is still left alone

I feel like they're just really mismanaged tbh.

Like, remember when they tried to make them a prime time show? That was never gonna work alongside other nighttime shows. Muppets feel best suited for a specific audience.
Honestly I don't think the formula of the original show is even dated in any way. They could just do more episodes of the original show with minimal changes and it would still work.

Yeah, just, don't put it on a channel like ABC/NBC. I kinda doubt the average night time comedy/news/SPORTSSPORTSPSPORTS person in the age range of 40-60 wanna watch a puppet show of all things.

Making the Muppets Primetime wasn't the issue, the issue was taking "The Office" approach with them and not, well, The Muppets approach.

And it bombed cause nobody liked the Muppets with no witty dialogue or zany scenarios

I'll always love the idea of a Muppet Beauty and the Beast where the beast is just a human actor (or even someone really conventionally attractive like Henry Cavill) but everyone else is a puppet and they treat him like a hideous monster.
That would be amazing.

Miss Piggy plays belle and the beast turns into Kermit at the end.

I was the target audience for their mockumentary series on ABC…I have no shame in loving that show

I still love the idea of a mixed media muppet show special where the muppets perform a show with hand drawn Disney animated characters to stick it to digital and cg animation. And the obligatory bad guys are cg and like… flash animated.
