Stuff went down in the Pokemon fangame community.
Turns out the devs of Pokemon Infinite Fusion didn't just use generative AI to fill out thousands of Pokedex entries (though they later went back on this to my knowledge), but they've also essentially committed THOUSANDS of cases of art theft - several artists who left the project asked to have their sprites removed from the game, but the devs refused and are tightening their grip on the sprites that DO NOT BELONG TO THEM.
There's bound to be some information on the situation on social media, I'm watching a video on YouTube about it right now.
