I've never listened to Christmas songs at the appropriate times anyway, restricting the ability to listen to The Darkness' "Don't Let the Bells End" to just December is masochism to the point of absurdityThat song is best suited for Christmas.
Joking aside, it is quite a good song, very cheerful.
Speaking of Sonic...(This is for everyone to read, by the way)
Here is this idea for the gameplay of a Sonic game idea I had in mind.
Here is another game idea of mine, which is a game like Sonic CD. I don't have a story yet, but I do have the way the gameplay would work. Basically, there would be signs that allow Sonic to travel to the past and future in the level. However, it is not in the way you think, and there IS a catch to how it works this time around. You know the timer that is part of the UI, and is on the corner of the screen, usually the top? Well, the timer would go from -99:99:99 seconds (the past) to up to 99:99:99 seconds (the future). Sonic must use the time travel mechanic that, when it activates, allows Sonic to run forward or backwards in time in place, though speed must be built up first before Sonic travels, and he does not move until he stops time traveling. During the process, the timer will accelerate either forwards or backwards, and Sonic will thus go to an earlier point or a later point in the level where different things and events will start happening by then. Sonic can wait for the time go buy in terms of the future, but it is not recommended as it affects the chance to get an S rank negatively. With this, Sonic does not have to destroy roboticizers, as there are none, but he can do things in the past that will affect the future of the level he is in, and Sonic will have to do things at different points in the past to affect the future, or different points in the future before the most extreme point of the future he goes to, all while the timer goes back or forth during the action of the level through time travel. Sonic will have to do this to earn S ranks.
By the way, there is a second timer below the first one, which, in terms of getting the S ranks, is the one to rely on. The time of the second timer is constant, regardless of past and future, and the first timer does not have any effect on getting an S rank. Also, this would be modern and 3D, or 2D, either way.

Maybe I could add the Deadly Six. Really! I just would need time to figure out how to include them.

You can do whatever you please with them. Either go for a redemptive route for I do, make them absolute maniacs like with IDW, or anything in-between. The great thing about the games-verse Deadly Six is that they're very flexible in their potential.
If capitalism ends we won't be worried about Smash.

I should say my favorite two Deadly Six members are Zazz and Master Zik. In the case of Zik, though his wisdom was generic in Lost World to some degree, I always like a guy who has wisdom. I am just a sucker for those.
I mean yeah sure but at that point just rerelease Gen 5 games without remaking them, I think they hold up.
It's worked okay for me. I pull out my phone when I get caught in a rumination cycle and right down some quick notes and it helps me break out of it.
The world could never be perfect. Good things and bad things have to balance each other out, from what says the laws of physics to things in life. If there were not balancing out between good and bad things, then no matter how good things are at first, it won't last, and bad things can still happen if things are too good or perfect.

It's okay. We all feel like that sometimes.
This is exactly my problem, too. Like, I love my guy Zavok, but just bringing him back over and over is NOT helping the Deadly Six's reputation. They keep trying to push their 'leader' when part of the Deadly Six's charm is their differing personalities and character traits. That's why I got so, SO pumped to see Zazz appear in CrossWorlds.
