Arceus:

"I created the universe with an untold amount of hands.... I then cut them off and made them into Mega Barbaracle. Funniest ****ing joke, well, second funniest joke after sending people to the past."
I'm imagining Mega Barbaracle as one of Arceus's ophanim (the main eye in the middle is Barbaracle's head-hand and all of the rings' eyes are its other hands).

If you have Incineroar and Hawlucha on the same team, give them both Mega Stones they turn into the Dudley Brothers.

Incineroar Mega form that turns him into Randy Savage

No, like, literally turns him into Randy Savage

He talks about Olivia the way the OG Randy talked about Elisabeth.

Undertaker nearly murdered AJ after standing behind him followed by him murdering his 2 best friends, then burying him alive, setting the warehouse they were fight in on fire simply by raising his fist while sitting on his motorcycle and then rode off while Metallica played in the background…which also played when he made his cinematic introduction to the warehouse to bury a Christian man alive

this makes perfect sense for wrestling standards

I mean fair. But I’m not gonna act like I didn’t wince when the peppy direct narrator cheerfully said “artificial intelligence”
I know this is a bit of a dead horse, but fun fact, the series director Kotaro Uchikoshi, has also condemned generative AI and called it soulless, so there's no need to worry or anything.
Also, huh. He's not writing this one, merely overseeing it. I'm sure it'll still be fun but I guess he's been working on that Danganronpa kinda game instead

Watched the Direct while getting ready for work this morning. Really all I wanted to see was more of Prime 4 and Legends Z-A and I got just that.

I was amazed to see Patapon and Everybody's Golf. Looks like they've both been licensed to Namco. Given this and Lego Horizon maybe now the idea of some of my favourite first party PS titles getting ported to Nintendo won't be the delusions of a crazy person.

I found people's reactions to the virtual game card kind of funny. Was like a 50-50 split between people happy and unhappy with it. My initial thought was it seemed like something I'd use given I intend to keep my Switch after getting a Switch 2, so long as the saves transfer as well. I'm not going to use the lend feature or anything. It was mentioned the old method many people with multiple Switches use would still work and a Nintendo spokesperson reconfirmed that. Still the conclusions people jumped to or information they just straight up failed to understand wasn't helping gamer illiteracy allegations.

They specifically made the "Lend Virtual Game Card" feature local only to specifically **** with Smashboards cause they knew we'd be passing them around like blunts if they didn't

I'm still pretty new to the competitive scene, so I honestly have no idea if Maractus is considered good in the meta or not, but I honestly actually would like to see it get something new. At least give it an Evolution so it can be stronger.

It's design is creative and cute, dang it!

Iirc Maractus is just widely considered hot mid but I agree, Maractus deserves more in life as it's so friendly looking despite not being able to give nice hugs. One idea I think I remember seeing years ago was a Grass/Fire type in which it gets more flowers across it's body

I swear this series was like 50% of the reason I'm such an alien dork

In that case I'll believe with everything I have in me, Barbaracle is my boi
I may be a ****ing boomer but like

God I remember when the movie that spawned this had those little cardboard circles with the Experiments on them, and then there was a mail in order to get more.

It took me like two months just to get the mail in ones.

You mean the pilot movie for the TV series itself? With Sparky?

Ya, mine came with these things that were kinda like Pogs, but not really? They were little cardboard circles with the experiments on them.

There was a mail in offer to get more, especially newer ones from the show, like the bat one that kept changing its number throughout the show.

Dude, I remember having a piece of paper that came with the DVD box for it that was basically a gallery of upcoming experiments on the show. I even kept it for years until at least well after the show ended waiting for all of them to show up in an episode!

I don't remember if it had a mail in offer to get any merchandise from the series, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's partly what it was. Kid me was probably just so fixated on the experiments themselves that I didn't bother to check for on it on the piece of paper or anywhere else in the DVD box's contents lol.

Dude I had the exact same paper, and there was a 2nd one as well which was like for season 2 or something iirc.

Sadly it seems like both posters are.....

I think I probably still have the first poster somewhere.

If no one else has ever uploaded photos of the Experiments poster/booklet yet, I might eventually if I find it lmao.

I vividly remember the first one had the lil dudes from the early episodes of the show and the 2nd one had more obscure ones like the purple bat from the movie iirc.

That's probably accurate. The one I remember seeing had just about all the Experiments that I can remember debuting in season 1. I don't think it had ones like Felix (the cleaning experiment), the one that turns people into babies, or the two talking experiments that acted as a duo of thieves, but I can't remember if those four debuted in season 1 or 2.

Either way, I definitely don't remember seeing a poster or booklet that had the experiments from season 2. I'm not sure if that was an error, something I lost when I first opened the DVD box, or something that comes with exclusively with the mail in order.
