Like, one day I just realized I didn't have the energy to be upset over things that I have no control over and are ultimately inconsequential.

Interesting how the sequels to the few games I picked up outside of the Nintendo sphere (Hollow Knight and Hades) are now my most hyped Switch 2 titles. Sometimes it pays off to go outside of your comfort zone, even if you buy a Metroid Dread or ARMS along the way.

Where are you getting those criteria? The one from the Nintendo site I signed up on said:

Invitation emails will be prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis to registrants who have purchased a Nintendo Switch Online membership with a minimum of 12 months of paid membership and a minimum of 50 total gameplay hours, as of April 2, 2025.

Which like, I think I meet? I just re-upped my NSO and I played Xenoblade Chronicles DE from December to January, but I'm not sure.

Kirby fans got some HUGE dubs today.

Funny timing too because I've actually been wanting to play FL again.

I was wondering if Kirby would get some new stuff today since a lot of Nintendo's other franchises were either largely dormant or are/were recently getting new games or content.

This is way Kirby stuff more than I anticipated. And with one of the new things being an Air Ride sequel, with Sakurai himself in charge of a Kirby game again after so long, I can't honestly offer any complaints.

I’m not even gonna lie, I’m picking up Kart World. I think it looks awesome. I’ll have to get the tie-in pack to save some money.

But I’m already worried about how they’re pricing things this gen. And I’m not just gonna buy every $80 game they come out with. I’ll need to see that it’s WORTH IT

I was expecting 50 when we saw that there were 24 racers. But after seeing everyone today, I think it’s going to push 70 racers total. Which is insane to think about.

Five of my Switch 1 games are on the list of backwards compatible games that'll have start up issues on Switch 2 and all are listed with "This issue is being investigated".

Hope it won't be a problem down the road.
