Smash Apprentice
I mean, the reason it is so famous is that Nintendo Characters fight. I wouldn't have ever heard of it if it didn't.
How about u?

We have SSB3, now all we need is Power Stone 3!Yeah.
Power Stone is awesome.
Amen.I'd buy a Smash game as long as it had the Nintendo characters we had now, and would continue to buy it if they kept adding even more 3rd party VIDEO game personalities.
But if they started adding **** like Goku,/Naruto/Chandler.
No, just no.
lol. Ouch. I actually liked the Adventure series. (All 2 of them)if a different company made it, it would probably suck. it seems nintendo are the only company that can pull off something like SSB. although maybe, just maybe the sega team of 14 years ago could have done a good job with it
but not the sega team of now. they cant do anything right (Sonic The Hedgehog 1991-1998)
And of course nobody plays the post 1994 2-d games, because it's not like they exist... right? This isn't nostalgia***gotry talking, right?I enjoyed the first Sonic Adventure, but once Shadow was introduced the series died.
Power Stone and Super Smash Bros are my favorite fighting games, they need to make another Power StoneYeah.
Power Stone is awesome.
Then, probably not.But what if the entire cast was original characters?
Well, I really couldn't answer that. Of course, I'd lose the nostalgia factor, but the characters in the game wouldn't be limited to their appearances in other games (IE: Half of Sonic's moves are Spin Dashes). But what if the entire cast was original characters?
It probably wouldn't have the same appeal for me, but I don't really know.
Yeah.
Power Stone is awesome.
I liked to use the guy who turned super sayien and fired blasts out his hands like vegeta....Yeah.
Power Stone is awesome.
*Drops Coffee*Sonic And KIRBY!There are now 2 extra hedgehogs we don't need:
Shadow (Uber badass clone of Sonic, whose not really a clone because what the **** he was created before Sonic.)
Silver (Some Crazy telekintetic crap from the future or alternate time line or something)
I only like hedgehogs that are blue and pink. :o
Melee was one of the deepest fighters. You can make a case for Guilty Gear, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Street Fighter 3 third strike, and maybe someothers being deeper in the 2D fighter market. Melee is considered a tourney competition game everywhere (where videogames are big) except Japan (there is a tourney scene there but some of the prominent tourney circuits there don't have Smash tournies). This is probably the only 2D fighter game that Americans are better at then than the Japanese. So if you don't support Melee, you are a communist and are surely not American. No I would not.
There are games with FAR better fighting mechanics, but Smash's appeal is the loveable characters and loads of options/modes.
