Maybe that's why I rarely try at a lot of things....

I always think that it only sets yourself up for disappointment in the end, but I'm a hardcore pessimist like that.

Because I still enjoy using other characters more.

It's really difficult for me to get past that "mediocre" level with a character nowadays. Not because I'm not good enough, but because I don't wanna put a large amount of time and effort into brawl. Also, I get bored of things easily, meaning if I constantly use the same character I'll get bored of them just when I start actually getting good.

That's kinda what happened with IC's. I was hell bent on getting good with them. Then after a couple of weeks I realized that I was putting all of this effort into something that means nothing in the long run lol
After that I started to get bored, somehow.

At this point I feel like the only character I'm decent with is Peach. The rest of the characters I use are basically just for fun. Yet I don't use Peach that much because I'm afraid I'll get bored of the only character I'm good with haha
This kinda forces me to switch around between characters all the time.

Maybe I should main random.
This game is just for funz though so I'm not worried or anything. Just confused about some things.

hahaha I was actually just about to say that I REALLY enjoyed playing as Falco.

I was facing my brother with him and had a lot of fun. Falco is just really gay and annoying and awesome!

More fun than MK imo.

haha actually I did. I find him really fun to use at times. I got never got into using him past the occasional pointless online tourney though.

I never use him in friendlies though. People would quit on me I'm sure.

I'm running out of characters to use. I was thinking about using Olimar, just so I can finally learn how to fight them
I hate Olimar so much, but I see no better way.

Also, I might brawl with Brandon this weekend, so we'll see how that goes.

I wouldn't mind picking up Melee again and actually try and get good at it. But for that to happen I'd need someone to play pretty much daily.

I did a bit when I was at my brothers house. Haven't played since then, which was about 5 days ago.

You don't know this, but I used to play Melee religiously. I played it sooo much from it's release until the end of 2007. At this point, it's the game i've played the most in my life.

But I was only a semi-casual player. I never used items unless I wanted to play for fun in an ffa, but I wasn't technical and didn't learn about all that crap until like, mid 2007 I think xD

That stage always switches between being a neutral and a cp so I got confused.
