Ahahaha, I'll just get it on the 360. I'll play it like it's supposed to be played and maybe some day in the future I will attain a new gaming rig on which I will finally create my Hyrule using Skyrim's construction set. Or it may never happen, who knows.

I tell myself, "I know, I know—if I want to explore Zelda, I should do so in art," but gollie, I would love to create a tangible Hyrule, completely explorable, though not fine-tuned in lore. I would like to release what's basically a giant landmass to explore with various regions, towns, temples, dungeons, and what have you. I may not fill it with people, rather supply the player with an interpretive Hyrule to explore at their leisure. Wouldn't want to only begin placing NPCs upon release, as it would look like something half-baked. Building it up to a certain degree is smarter. From there, the community could work to populate the world and script quests. Ahh, a Hyrule total conversion.

On top of that, Skyrim's aesthetics in geography, architecture, and fashioin would lend themselves well as tools to craft Hyrule. I feel so ready! But I must play Skyrim for all its worth first. I must study its design. When I play these games, I often times wander aimlessly observing the aesthetics of the polygons and textures rather than engage in the core of the game. Take Twilight Princess for example. I first beat the game in 33 hours, but my file is now clocked in at approximately 70 hours. The latter 37 hours chronicle my further exploration of Hyrule for its aesthetic structure, studying why the developers might have decided to make every move I could measure. I love gaming for that reason.
I've kept up with a lot of Skyrim's news, but the game is so big that I know the public has barely scratched the surface. I don't feel that it has been spoiled at all.

However, I do not want to play it on the 360. I may have to, but I'd rather have a high-end PC experience. Unfortunately I have neither the PC or the money to buy a PC for such, so 360 it is.
Maybe trainwreck wasn't the best word? I remembered a lot of disappointment going around when it ended, maybe that's why I said that.

It isn't bad, but it's pretty different from when it started. However the CONSTANT STUFF HAPPENING is what makes CG great and I guess the second season did it better.

I guess I just thought they could have handled much of it better. I liked the ending though.

Still, CG was fun all the way through it, and that is what matters. :/
This year is not fair for gaming. There are too many good games. Are you playing Arkham City???
Yeah, Innocence was the 2nd one.

I've seen the series several times, could probably watch it again given time. Try watching the first season again knowing about the Laughing Man; things make a loooooot more sense.

Or you could just ask me :bee: When you really get the plot, the series becomes amazing; all the intricacy and complexity is woven together so well.
Indeed, I am a huge Ghost in the Shell fan. The movies were good (particularly the 1st and 3rd, the second was meh in my humble opinion), but the two seasons of SAC were probably my favorite seasons of any anime.
Code Geass was a fun anime. The second season was a trainwreck though, but still kind of a fun trainwreck.

I watched it in Japanese. I don't remember the english being bad, but the Japanese felt more over the top which is probably better for a show like this one.

Japanese Lelouch is voiced by Roy btw. :roymelee:
Haha, I JUST DRANK A POTION.

Yeah, doesn't really sound like something that I would enjoy, tbqh.
    SO HARD.

That's kind of what I've heard. Apparently, it's also a bit of a grindfest?
Hmm, Dark Souls, Arkham City, and probably some other stuff that I can't remember. And in November, Assassin's Creed Revelations, UMvC3, and KoFXIII.

I also bought Ico/SotC collection, so I should probably play that. :I

No, I have not. I don't think I would enjoy it very much though.
    Hmm, not too much.

I tried to play Dark Souls, but I don't understand it, so I'm waiting for my boyfriend to come home and explain it to me. I was under the impression that everyone starts with a shield, but I couldn't figure out how to equip it.

    /sadlife

But other than that, just the usual. There are so many awesome games coming out in October/November, why?
