  • The last day of May before June rolls over. Prepare for the event and hopfully end this crazy ride.

I know the video is death watches, but turn that into countdown clocks
I honestly don't know who is coming regarding characters being either a high pick or a sleeper pick.

Part of me just want this suspense to end. Other is fearful of WHO are chosen.

It is stress, but just don't go too deep to avoid being consumed. Also, some music to relieve some stress.
Oh and another thing that is happening soon. If you are familiar with the Owl House TV show, Season 2 will begin this June. Here is the New Intro for the Upcoming Season.
Since so much speculation is appear as E3 slowly creeps each passing day, the mind is getting overwhelmed. I'm going to back off for a while until official news from Nintendo pops up.
Just a theory I thought about (don't take it seriously):

the Smash Fan games that are created for people to play (SSF2, Smash Remix and SSB Crusade) characters that are wish picks. Now, Smash Ultimate has been making wishes come true, but some characters remain as wish picks. Do you think that selected fan favorites characters in the fan games had their fate already foretold to not be confirmed for Ultimate's roster? (Don't count SSF2 anime characters as many agree that Ultimate will have Video Game Origin characters)

Not really as Nintendo and Sakurai have negotiated with these developers to get most of these characters in probably even before Ultimate started development even some of the DLC characters as Steve was negotiated for in 2015 before Ultimate's development started.

Plus if that was the case which it's highly unlikely not, Sephiroth wouldn't have been added as he was in this Project M: Remix mod before he was announced as a newcomer in Ultimate:

Do you think characters like Crash Bandicoot, Master Chief, Ryu Hayabusa or other highly requested ones have the highest chance of getting an invite to Ultimate for the E3 event?

I try not to think about it because we ended up with Steve and Minmin. I want Amaterasu or Akuma but I'd never see those.

I think they could have strong chances with how roster selection has been. Nintendo/Sakurai seemed to want to peg a lot of fan demanded characters this time around that they just didn't have in Smash 4. However, it's really had to say what their line of thinking is for this pass. Pass 2 feels, as many have said, putting in those who they might have wanted for base game but just hadn't had the time for. They feel like fairly natural picks and not quite as 'out there' as some of Pass 1 was.
If you are interesting, the TV show of Rick and Morty is coming again with season 5 on June 20th. Also, a video for the duo doing callbacks to the arcade style beatem ups and references.
I know it is repeated many times over, but just to ask while passing the time.

Do you think that E3 will reveal only one or both characters for FP2?

Everytime we have gotten a Smash announcement at E3 in the past, we always get at least 2 reveals for example:

E3 2001: Melee is shown off for the first time along with some of the newcomers that are going to be in it like Peach, Bowser, Zelda, Sheik and the Ice Climbers.

E3 2006: Brawl is shown off for the first time along with some of it's newcomers Meta Knight, Pit, Wario, Zero Suit Samus and Snake.

E3 2013: Smash 4 is is shown off for the first time along with two of it's newcomers Villager and Mega Man.

E3 2014: The Mii Fighters and Palutena are revealed. Pac-Man the next day behind doors.

E3 2015: The previous announced returning Lucas was dropped along with the returning veteran Roy and newcomer Ryu.

E3 2018: "Everyone Is Here!" is announced alongside newcomers Inklings, Daisy and Ridley.

E3 2019: Hero and Banjo & Kazooie are revealed.

So yeah, I expect to see the final two remaining Fighter's Pass 2 characters at E3 in June as the past has shown us we always get at least 2 Smash reveals at E3. And if those are the last 2 characters, I still expect to see them at E3 and it would be kind of appropriate to end the biggest Smash game ever at a E3 event.

I'd say it is entirely possible that they could unveil the final two fighters at E3. Guess we'll have to wait and see on the day.

I mean, there has never been a E3 that has only revealed one Smash newcomer as there is always at least two revealed at E3.
    Just a quick thought,
if Challenger 10 happens in May, do you think Sakurai has preparations for one more at E3 this June?

I will honestly be quite surprised if no characters are announced at e3. Even if they aren't gonna be made available until July or August or so.
The 4 characters currently on my Wishlist.

    1. Crash Bandicoot (Everyone is rooting for him as he has close ties with Nintendo and his rivalry against Sonic and Mario in the 90s)
    2. Rayman (Not because of the letter Nintendo Reply to, but just wanting him in for his unique characteristics and limbless attacks)
    3. Shantae (Indie yes, but one that is still kicking along with others. Great potential moveset, Characteristics and other content she could bring from her home series and WF property.)
    4. Jason Frudnick (My experience with the Blaster Master Zero series made me think about this MA inventor's possible chance. Plethora of weapon variations and moveset with his final smash calling in Sophia to attack with the Acceleration Blast as the finale.)
    Doc Monocle
    Doc Monocle
My most wanted four (not without a doubt, but likely in the stated order) are

    Dixie Kong
    Cranky Kong
    Dr. Eggman
    Chibi Robo
    CheeseAnton
    CheeseAnton
    Most wanteds without a doubt
    1. Rayman (Everyone loves Raymoand)
    1. Master Chief (he's cool)
    3. Dillon The Armadillo (a battle between "The Blue Blurr" and "The Red Flash" sounds awesome)
    4. Leon Kennedy (slightly less cool, but still cool)
    TheThingamajigRayman
    TheThingamajigRayman
    My most wanted's, easily.

    1. Rayman (Like the character and games. And his limblessness can make a cool moveset, if done right.)
    2. Spyro (Dragons are cool. His games are fun and cool. The character's cool. I'm nostalgic towards the games. Easily, Spyro.)
    3. Geno (I just think he's cool. And Mario RPG: LOTSS is fun, and probably my favorite RPG Mario game ever. Just a cool character.)
    4. Crash (I find his games enjoyable. He's an overall wacky and cartoony character, and he'd make plenty happy, including me.)
Anyone tried to play week 7 of Friday Night Funkin? Found out Newgrounds site is down.
If there is going to be a double reveal to finish FP2 at E3, who do you think are the last two?
Leaks isn't the best place to depend on for clues, but more to pass the time.

I do know that they aren't reliable, but a leak suggested that a Phantasy Star Online character may be part of the remaining FP2 along with Ryu Hayabusa.

    What do you think?

That specific rumor seems pretty fake

-The things that were on the list that have been true were leaked previously due to actual Insiders, or just conjecture.

-The rumor came out before Pyra and Mythra yet it didn't have them even though they were probably farther along in development then the last 2 characters of the pass

-This one doesn't hold as much water but a Higher up at Koei tecmo said that Hayabusa will not appear in smash. This response was unprompted as the interviewer did not specifically mention smash bros.

-The specific Phantasy Star character isn't the actual Mascot of the franchise.

Phantasy Star in smash though would be pretty darn cool, It has a great aesthetic and music, and the gameplay could be really fun.
While the speculation are going to grow stronger as there isn't anymore future DLC, I think it is time to step off speculation. There is a lot more things to do other then speculation alone.

I have been wondering why speculation is always abuzz with activity, yet it is so easy for character support threads to become 'ghost towns.'

When characters doesn't have much of chance as the next fighter. One is pushed under the rug while the others are lifted higher. Morale is somewhat flimsy here in the internet depending on where the support thread discusses on.
It is currently Spring, but I can speculate what Nintendo plans and what game announcements may appear when E3 draws near.

    1) Splatoon 3: Since the new game's reveal and coming soon next year, The Squid Research Lab will give the breakdown of this new landscape, new weapons and updated turf wars in the post apocalyptic world. Maybe a Global Testfire announcement in late 2021. (Thanks Team Chaos, you made this world setting happen.)
    2) Smash Reveal(s)?: We already know that Smash reveals isn't far behind as Smash is one the BIGGEST HYPE a lot of people are expecting. Who is Challenger 10 and 11? Sakurai either reveals one again or both with discussion about Ultimate's DLC development.
    3) Finally news for Metroid Prime 4 and/or Bayonetta 3?: These two projects have been under the radar with no updates on the game's progress. Maybe the team is ready to give the fans a sneak peak.
    4) new games: Laying out the next games in store for people Triple AAA and Indie games.
From February to March, more announcement is coming and the DEATH of mario All Stars and vs 35 Mario games
Once Byleth arrives on January 28 with Mii Costume wave 5 (Cuphead), I do wonder when Nintendo is going to kickstart Season 2 of the Fighters Pass? Of course its still too soon to talk about it, but just a speculation since the characters are already selected.

I'm thinking that we'll have just a regular Nintendo Direct at some point in February. If we even get anything about Fighter Pass 2 in it, it will probably be a very, very small preview. If we don't get anything, which is likely, we're probably waiting until E3 for more news.
