Okay, so I have been listening to that song essence from wizkid for about three to four hours on repeat for the past three days...and at about a half pitch higher, I might add. Idk about y'all, but the music sounds better like that. That might become my new theme music. Now, music from the 1970s is great, and the 1970s was and still is my glory decade, but we are in the new school now.

That leads me to Black Sophitia Fact #100: I tend to like music that uses the semitones and notes of that song I am starting to love. I have the propensity to get odd visions ranging from fighters flying to a star k.o. or screen k.o. after getting hit by suicune's aurora beam, especially if it was a character who stays silent after such a k.o., such as my girl . It also makes me visualize turning on mario kart 64 and playing on rainbow road, even though I have never once touched that track. Other visions include flying over the lake in royal raceway and flying through the glider portions of many different tracks in mk8d.

ひとつ - Now, why did I pick black sophitia as my username? ひとつ, I am african-american (duh), and ふたつ, I main sophitia in soulcalibur and co-main cassandra. I just have a soft spot for ladies that can wield swords.
ふたつ - I sometimes wonder, will there ever be an end to these "who should I main" posts?
みっつ - I am of the personal opinion that I like how fighters, when they get sent flying over the upper blast zone, are k.o.'d as if they were sent into any other blast zone. I tell you what, it can get a bit tiresome hearing everyone's star k.o. screams sometimes.

I was a bit hesitant posting this as was a bit indisposed, btw.

About that recent nintendo direct...Yay to pauline being confirmed for mario kart 8 deluxe! As for peachette...I say meh. Aside from that, and funky kong are cool with me.

So, I have been reading most of the star wars: fate of the jedi books over the past few weeks. When reading the characters' lines, I visualize out-of-place voice actors, dead or alive, doing their lines. They include:

ひとつ - This month, I have decided to return to tekken series with a renewed mind. I quit almost a year ago since practicing juggles can get frustrating sometimes. And after discovering tekken 8 has an avatar creator, I had to come back. I hope it ain't like street fighter 6 where the use of them is limited to world tour and online. That said, still awaiting the confirmation of my main girl, anna.

ふたつ - I often visualize as the background narrator when I get to a tekken title screen. He says in the background, "Welcome to Tekken (insert numbered installment here/Tag Tournament/Tag Tournament 2)!" "Select your fighter!", etc. and like that.

みっつ - If your first name or surname matches the name of an eating establishment, you should get a small discount. For example, if your surname is mcdonald, you ask for a small discount at a mcdonald's. Likewise, whoever's first name is wendy (including this ), ask for a discount at wendy's.

ひとつ - IDK about the rest of you guys, but staying off the computer for several days at a time is starting to transform me.
ふたつ - So, has anyone had the crunchy cookie flavor m&m's before? They do not taste a damn thing like cookies.
みっつ - Did I ever speak of my personal opinions on tekken, even though I quit that series months ago? My personal unpopular opinions--um, I think--are I thought asuka looked hot in her school uniform as well as that aikido one she had in tekken 5. Same with kazumi in tekken 7. I am also of the opinion that azucena looks hot, and she even shares my love of coffee.
よっつ - I had a lovely dream where I was watching that sanford and son episode where the japanese were attempting to buy the houses in fred and lamont's neighborhood. In that scene where fred and lamont were invited to dinner, the lady in the pink kimono (who I had a bit of the hots for back in the day and still do, lulz) was replaced by my girl in her kimono appearance. was in the dream serving the food. was also there as a guest, sitting between the sanfords. At the part where fred faked arthritis, brandished six needles. Seems she secretly specializes in acupuncture. Of course, he runs out before the "operation".

athens dash - Hmm...not too bad. This one, I will play on occasion.
daisy cruiser - Considering I have played this track in double dash for the past 14 years, it should not be surprising that I placed daisy cruiser in the Maryse Cup tier. And for once, one of my predictions was right! I know, I know... "You ain't the only who predicted it, lady."
moonview highway - I am sorry, but this track can go to hell. And yes, I did play on this track because I do make an effort to play all tracks on this game at least once each. In mkwii, I almost never touch this track since the traffic can be hard to avoid. It may have less traffic here in mk8, I am still not a fan.
squeaky clean sprint - Enjoyable. With that out of the way, I think about that clock in the background at the starting line. The time it shows should match up with the time on your switch's internal clock.
los angeles laps - I liked it here. I have a good mind to create a few miis based off of jack, janet, and chrissy--you know, the main characters from three's company, one of my top-favorite sitcoms--and have them race on this track.
sunset wilds - An innocuous track with minimal obstacles, and I tend to favor tracks like this. This is a potential candidate for the Maryse Cup.
koopa cape - I rarely played it in mkwii. But now that those damn koopa zappers are absent, this track is much more tolerable. This is a potential candidate for the Maryse Cup.
vancouver velocity - Now, idk about the rest of y'all, but the background music on this track was pretty damn catchy as to be lit! I should play this **** come my birthday next month. Driving along the suspension bridge was my favorite part. This will be added to the Maryse Cup.

ひとつ - I only watched the nintendo direct for wave 5 dlc for mario kart 8. The new track checks out for me. Still hoping for daisy cruiser, mario circuit 2 (snes), and peach circuit (gba). Of the three revealed characters, I give two thumbs-up for kamek. Other than that, my girl getting a new platformer was a nice surprise.
ふたつ - Damn, it looks I walked in on pranking season.
みっつ - IDK about the rest of y'all, but the subtitles for youtube videos can sometimes get so inaccurate as to be hilarious.
