Thanks; I'd also really like to say that I'm happy with the way your personal charts have progressed since the beginning. You really have found your methods and how you want to use your personal chart as a healthy tool and I'm happy with what you've done with it. :)
2011 was a special year, since chart dates fell on 01.01.11 until 12.31.11, there are 53 weeks counted towards this year. Despite that, I charted less songs this year than last, with only 252 songs appearing on a 2011 chart. There was simply a lower turnover rate and many hits that had longevity.

For those who have seen my weekly charts, I use a points system, with each song getting a certain number of points each week. For my rankings I total all of these weekly points.

I will post everything in the following order:

    Top Artists
The top 10 artists, based on the points for all of their songs as a main artist and as a featured artist. Main artists and featured artists receive full points.

    Top Flops
The top 5 songs that I gave a fighting chance by charting them, but still ended up flopping miserably. Songs that don't make the chart aren't flops since I just never liked them. These are songs that I gave the benefit of the doubt and sincerely attempted to like. But they just proved to be flops.

    Point range:
    Under 1500 points.

    Bubbling Under
    #115-#101

Songs that missed the cut off for the top 100. I listened to them, but they just didn't connect enough to go that extra mile into the top 100.

    Point range:
    ~6000-6500 points.

    Hot ZV Radio Filler
    Songs #100-#51

Plenty of good songs in here that were easy to listen to and enjoy. But they weren't mega hits for me.

    Point range:
    ~6500-11750 points.

    Hot ZV Radio Smashes
    Songs #50-#26

Believe it or not, every songs #50 and above made my top 10 at some point or another. So I guess it'd be good to say all of these were top 10 smashes!

    Point range:
    ~11750-16600 points.

    Hot ZV Radio Hits
    #25-#11

Here are the songs that performed great, plenty of hits in here. Some of the best of the year are in here.

    Point range:
    ~16600-22000 points.

    Hot ZV Radio Smash Hits
    #10-#6

Every song in the top 10 managed to reach either #1 or #2 on my chart. These are the creme of the crop for sure.

    Point range:
    ~22000-25000 points.

    Hot ZV Radio Power Rotation
    #5-#3

These are some songs that I simply could not get enough of this year. They just had me addicted for weeks upon weeks.

    Point range:
    ~25000-30000 points.

    Hot ZV Runner-Up
    #2

The song that almost went the full mile but got cut short. Still an epic masterpiece for years to come I'm sure.

    Point range:
    Over 30000 points.

Hot ZV Song Of The Year
    #1

Quite simply the best song to have been released this year. Nothing tops this flawless masterpiece.

    Point Range:
    Over 33000 points.

    [collapse=Top Artists]Top Artists

    1o. Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer managed to place quite a few tracks from her album LOVE? on my chart. And her lead single isn't the reason she managed to make the top artists.

    o9. MGMT

At the start of 2011 I got Congratulations and I fell in love with it and pretty much everything except the title track itself.

    o8. Taylor Swift

Taylor managed to gain quite a few smashes from Speak Now on my chart, be on the look-out for them.

    o7. Nicki Minaj

Nicki managed to get this high thanks to a few big songs and a lot of featured credits. She does her guest verses well.

    o6. Katy Perry

Everyone knows Katy had a massive year with Teenage Dream, and for my chart it was no different.

    o5. Kanye West

A few smash singles and some good featured credits manage to get Yeezy into the top 5.

    o4. Foster The People

This band saw huge success on my chart with multiple tracks from the near-flawless Torches

    o3. Lady Gaga

While Born This Way is a subpar album overall, it still had enough smash tracks to get her into the top 3.

    o2. Britney Spears

Britney did well with Femme Fatale era and had a strong showing here to prove it. Which tracks will make the year end?

    o1. Rihanna

With smash hits charting from Rated R, LOUD, and Talk That Talk as well as some featured showings, it's no surprise that Rihanna managed to become the #1 artist of 2011 for me. Now the question remains which will come out on top.[/collapse]

    [collapse=Top Flops]Top Flops

#5 Flo Rida - Good Feeling (Good Flopping)

Sometimes I get a good feeling too. It's not when I listen to this song. Flo Rida normally does well on my chart, I usually find him enjoyable. Not with this song, which managed a meager four weeks on my chart with a peak of 29. Pathetic chart run. FLOP.

#4 Lady Gaga - The Edge of Glory (The Flop of Glory)

I not only gave this song a chance when it first came out, I actually gave it another chance after that after it had become huge. However all it did was leave me at the edge of my seat about to fall over asleep. During its first run of 4 weeks, it managed to get a peak of 41; during its second run it tacked on another 3 weeks and got a new peak of 40. Terrible showing either way. FLOP.

#3 Enrique Iglesias - I Like How It Feels (I Like How It Flops)

I hate how it sounds. I thought it was tolerable at the start, but then I realised how much Enrique had gone back to irrelevancy. This song spent three weeks on the chart with a peak of 38. Hardly impressive. FLOP.

#2 Britney Spears - Inside Out (Flopside Out)

The only track on this list that is an album track; and one with much hype as well. This song kills my eardrums from the inside out. I don't have a clue how people can enjoy this throwaway track. This song spent three weeks on my chart with a peak of 41. Just awful. FLOP.

#1 Kelly Clarkson - Mr. Know It All (Mr. Flop It All)

Mr. Bore Us All definitely came out to play with this track. Everything from the pseudo-feminist elementary level lyrics to the lifeless vocals to the bland production spells disaster for this song. I never thought I'd see a chart run this awful, but it happened as I was far to kind in continually giving this song a chance. It spent five weeks on the chart, all at #50: its peak. Rock bottom the whole way through.

FOTY - FLOP OF THE YEAR.

    [IMG][/collapse]

#115 Enrique Iglesias - Tonight (I'm Lovin' You) ft. Ludacris

    Peak: #14
    Weeks: 8

#114 Lady Gaga - Marry The Night

    Peak: #14
    Weeks: 14

#113 Foster The People - Warrant

    Peak: #8
    Weeks: 10

    #112 Taylor Swift - Haunted

    Peak: #4
Weeks: 18 (6 weeks of the 18 were spent in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

    #111 Jennifer Lopez - Papi

    Peak: #13
    Weeks: 11

#110 Ready Set - Young Forever

    Peak: #14
    Weeks: 10

#109 Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song

    Peak: #8
    Weeks: 9

#108 Britney Spears - Trouble For Me

    Peak: #6
    Weeks: 7

#107 Hyper Crush - Kick Us Out

    Peak: #8
    Weeks: 8

    #106 Bruno Mars - Grenade

    Peak: #2
Weeks: 22 (13 weeks of the 22 were spent in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

#105 Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough

    Peak: #23
    Weeks: 16

#104 Taylor Swift - Sparks Fly

    Peak: #11
    Weeks: #11

#103 Flo Rida - Who Dat Girl ft. Akon

    Peak: #11
Weeks: 11 (3 weeks of the 11 were spent in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

    #102 Lady Gaga - Judas

    Peak: #4
    Weeks: 7

#101 Foster The People - Houdini

    Peak: #9
    Weeks: 12[/collapse]

[collapse=Hot ZV Radio Filler]Hot ZV Radio Filler

#100 David Guetta - Without You ft. Usher

    Peak: #9
    Weeks: 11

I didn't get into this song for quite some time, but I finally eased up to it and it has had a decent chart run. It is still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart. David Guetta has placed three songs higher, what will they be? Usher has a single higher entry, what will it be?

    #99 Jessie J - Domino

    Peak: #5
    Weeks: 8

I had a brief flirtation with this song, with Jessie J helping to fill in some of the Katy Perry void. This is Jessie J's sole entry.

#98 Rihanna - Stupid In Love

    Peak: #13
    Weeks: 9

It took me forever to get through all of Rated R. This was the final song to make its chart run after I charted the majority of the album. Rihanna will appear on eight more entries.

#97 Keri Hilson - Pretty Girl Rock

    Peak: #7
Weeks: 9 (3 weeks of the 9 were spent in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

I wasn't thrilled with this immediately, but I caught on eventually.

#96 Taylor Swift - The Story Of Us

    Peak: #9
    Weeks: 11

This song is pretty much filler and was mainly charted because it was a single and I needed a Taylor song to listen to. But really, it isn't anything special and I am leaning towards disliking it now. You can expect three more Taylor tracks to be higher.

#95 The Script - If You Ever Come Back

    Peak: #9
    Weeks: 11

This song might be a cheesy album track, but it still ended up being catchy. The Script did well with their album, this being the lowest entry of four.

#94 The Script - Walk Away

    Peak: #5
    Weeks: 8

And right after, we get the next entry for The Script. This album track is particularly less cheesy and has an unusual theme, but I like it anyway. Expect two more entries.

    #93 The Script - Nothing

    Peak: #17
Weeks: 13 (2 weeks of the 13 were spent in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

Surprisingly, The Script managed to place three tracks consecutively against one another on my chart this year. This single is a saddening one, but still wonderful nonetheless. Expect a single entry to rank above this, and no, it isn't #92.

#92 Dev - In The Dark ft. 50 Cent, Flo Rida & Kanye West

    Peak: #5
    Weeks: 13

This song would have flopped horribly; and did. When it was Dev alone that is. By herself, she managed a single week at #50 and fell off. Some months later, I found a version with all of the featured rappers together and fell in love. She owes her success to them. While you won't find any more entries by Dev on this chart, you will see 50 Cent, Flo Rida & Kanye West with more entries.

#91 Gym Class Heroes - Stereo Hearts ft. Adam Levine

    Peak: #16
    Weeks: 20

This song never really went anywhere, but it didn't have a burn rate it seems, which allowed it to chart this high. While you won't see the names Gym Class Heroes or Adam Levine higher on the chart, you can expect to see the names Travie McCoy and Maroon 5 higher.

#90 Nicki Minaj - Girls Fall Like Dominoes

    Peak: #10
    Weeks: 10

Nicki really brought it home on this track. Wonderfully executed rapping and a solid chart run. You'll see Nicki on the chart three more times. How high did she manage with her other entries?

#89 Diddy-Dirty Money - Coming Home ft. Skylar Grey

    Peak: #3
Weeks: 11 (3 weeks of the 11 were spent in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

Honestly I listened to this song more for Puff Daddy P. Diddy Diddy Sean Combs Diddy-Dirty Money more than I did for Skylar Grey. The verses were simply awesome. Don't expect either to be higher on the chart.

    #88 MGMT - Siberian Breaks

    Peak: #16
    Weeks: 15

This was a big year for MGMT, with this being their lowest of four entries. I specifically set aside their CD for the start of 2011, and this was a track that stood out. One of the quirks of this track is that it is over twelve minutes in length.

#87 Britney Spears - Big Fat Bass ft. Will.I.Am

    Peak: #6
    Weeks: 9

This is Britney's lowest entry on the chart, with seven more songs ranking higher. This is the sole entry for Will.I.Am. This first thirty seconds of this song are pure bliss. Honestly if there was an extended three minute version of those thirty seconds, I'd maybe even enjoy the track more than I do now.

#86 Jennifer Lopez - Invading My Mind

    Peak: #8
    Weeks: 13

This is the third highest entry for Jennifer Lopez. A definite fan-favourite album track, this song is great! What has ranked higher?

#85 Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me

    Peak: #7
    Weeks: 13

Another of the many Britney tracks to make the chart, it's surprising that the lead single would be this low. However the song, while enjoyable, just had too much of a burn rate and wasn't anything era-defining. Still a great song from Britney.

#84 Party Rock Anthem ft. Goon Rock & Lauren Bennett

    Peak: #10
    Weeks: 13

This song took me forever to get into. In fact, it took another LMFAO track to get me to get into this track. Regardless, it is a hit for me now, and is still charting as of 12.31.11. The song that got me into this one ranks higher, what and where will it be? (You won't see the featured artists on any other tracks though.)

    #83 Rihanna - Fading

    Peak: #8
    Weeks: 9

One of the many Rihanna tracks to make the chart, this is a beautiful track from LOUD. Definitely worth listening to if you haven't already.

#82 Pitbull - Give Me Everything ft. Afrojack, Ne-Yo & Nayer

    Peak: #10
    Weeks: 11

One of the biggest hits of the year was something that burned on me relatively fast, leading to it being fairly low here. However you will see Nayer on another track and Pitbull on three more entries. Ne-Yo and Afrojack are one-hit wonders this year though.

#81 David Guetta - Little Bad Girl ft. Ludacris & Taio Cruz

    Peak: #8
    Weeks: 11

Both Ludacris and Taio Cruz did great jobs with their vocals on this track. And David Guetta definitely pulls it all into a great song to dance to. All three artists still have more hits in the waiting though.

#80 Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)

    Peak: #11
    Weeks: 13

This song is still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart and still has plenty of room to grow. Kelly Clarkson definitely shows that while she got Flop Of The Year with Mr. Know It All that she still has good material. In fact she even has another track rank higher this year.

#79 Adele - Rumour Has It

    Peak: #15
    Weeks: 20

While it didn't ever rank high, this track managed to hang on forever. And while there are two more tracks ranking higher than this, this has become my favourite song from 21. In fact this song is still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart.

#78 YC - Racks ft. Future

    Peak: #4
    Weeks: 10

You won't see either of these artists higher on the chart; but they still got a hit with this pop-friendly urban track. A definite jam.

#77 Lady Gaga - Born This Way

    Peak: #2
    Weeks: 13

While this song peaked at #2, it also bears the dubious title of lowest-ranking #2 song from 2011. Luckily for Lady Gaga she managed to place three songs higher on the chart. We've already seen that three of the other singles from the album did not make the top 100; so what could possibly be higher?

#76 Maroon 5 - Never Gonna Leave This Bed

    Peak: #9
    Weeks: 10

The highest entry for Maroon 5, this song definitely deserves a lot more appreciation after it got overshadowed by the success of Moves Like Jagger and Stereo Hearts.

#75 Adele - Someone Like You

    Peak: #12
    Weeks: 17

Another entry for Adele, everyone knows the power of this song. While I don't believe it is as flawless as others, it definitely is worth praise.

    #74 Beyoncѐ - Countdown

    Peak: #11
    Weeks: 20

Beyoncѐ managed to place only one song higher than this. The video definitely defined this track for me.

#73 Beyoncѐ - Love On Top

    Peak: #1 (1 Week)
    Weeks: 16

Beyoncѐ sadly has the shame of having the lowest ranking #1 from 2011. This song is definitely wonderful and while it might have been a weak #1, it definitely is worthy of praise.

#72 Pitbull - Come N Go ft. Enrique Iglesias

    Peak: #7
    Weeks: 14

Definitely a spicy track from Pitbull's album this track really brings on the heat. You can still expect more jams from Pitbull. Enrique is done for now though.

#71 Jason Aldean - Dirt Road Anthem ft. Ludacris

    Peak: #2
    Weeks: 10

Jason Aldean is no stranger to my chart, having gone all the way to #1 with Big Green Tractor. This track, assisted by Ludacris, managed to go all the way to #2, showing he wasn't just a one-hit wonder. This is the highest entry for both artists this year.

#70 Foster The People - Call It What You Want

    Peak: #6
    Weeks: 17

Foster The People had an amazing year with the perfection that was Torches. This is one of many tracks to make my chart this year, with five entries managing to place higher. This song is still present on the 12.31.11 chart as well.

    #69 Rebecca Black - Friday

    Peak: #1 (1 Week)
    Weeks: 11

While many were quick to bash this song, it instantly became a 2011 classic and one of the defining songs of the year. This may very well become the only track Rebecca Black places on my chart ever, but it is a memorable one. It even managed to not be the lowest ranking #1 of the year as well.

#68 Waka Flocka Flame - No Hands ft. Roscoe Dash & Wale

    Peak: #4
Weeks: 14 (3 weeks of the 14 were spent in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

We won't see any of these artists rank higher this year, but this pop-friendly urban track is a jam. Definitely something worthy of blasting in the car.

#67 Foster The People - Don't Stop (Color On The Walls)

    Peak: #5
    Weeks: 16

Another track Foster The People managed to smash with. At first I was more hesitant about this track than the others, but it quickly grew on me and I feel it will smash as a single.

#66 Jason DeRülo - Be Careful

    Peak: #3
    Weeks: 13

The first of three entries from Jason DeRülo on my chart, this album track might have a laughable theme, but it still is beautifully produces and catchy. It is still charting as of my 12.31.11 chart as well. What will rank higher?

#65 Foster The People - Helena Beat

    Peak: #5
    Weeks: 17

And we're back to another Foster The People track. This track might have a lame music video, but it was definitely worthy of being an alternative single and I enjoyed it. This song is still charting as of 12.31.11. What shall rank higher?

#64 Nayer - Suavemente (Kiss Me) ft. Mohombi & Pitbull

    Peak: #4
    Weeks: 11

Nayer and Mohombi get their biggest hit with this track, while Pitbull has more to offer. This latin-infused track was a definite late summer hit for me!

#63 Lupe Fiasco - The Show Goes On

    Peak: #8
    Weeks: 11

Lupe Fiasco's only entry, this song was one of his biggest mainstream hits to date. Definitely catchy and a great message attached!

#62 Iyaz - Pretty Girls ft. Travie McCoy

    Peak: #7
    Weeks: 11

Neither of these artists will be seen higher, but this song was definitely a guilty pleasure song for me. The lyrics are cringe-worthy, but I can't deny that the track is catchy.

#61 Britney Spears - He About To Lose Me

    Peak: #5
    Weeks: 10

A beautiful album track from Ms. Britney Spears. This song has a terrific Middle 8 and is certainly worth a listen.

#60 Pitbull - International Love ft. Chris Brown

    Peak: #2
    Weeks: 10

A big collaboration here. This song managed to just miss the top spot, but still was a big hit for me regardless. Glad to see it starting to take off as a single. This is the highest entry for both artists.

    #59 MGMT - Brian Eno

    Peak: #9
    Weeks: 15

Another smash hit from MGMT, this song is the third highest to make the chart. This song has a wonderful intro and one of the most pop-friendly songs on the album.

#58 Wiz Khalifa - No Sleep

    Peak: #9
    Weeks: 18

Wiz Khalifa's labels need to fire everyone who didn't give this songs the CHR/Pop Adds Date it deserves. The smash that never happened. You will see him on one higher entry though.

#57 Lil Wayne - Bill Gates

    Peak: #7
Weeks: 17 (2 weeks of the 17 were spent in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

I may have gotten to this song late, but Lil Wayne's lyrics on this track are simply top-notch flawless. You will see him on another track that ranks higher.

#56 Britney Spears - Till The World Ends

    Peak: #5
    Weeks: 22

I had a strong initial reaction to this song. Then I got bored, then the remix gave me a little bit more interest, then I got bored of it again. Finally it reclicked with me near the end of the year and has proven worthy to be a hit. In fact it is still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart.

#55 Foster The People - Waste

    Peak: #1 (1 Week)
    Weeks: 17

This is a #1 track that definitely means a lot to me. It was a song that managed to fly up the ranks because it really connected to me at the time. In fact, it managed to get dislodged from #1 by another Foster The People track that connected with me even more strongly. What is that track and how high will it rank? This song is still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart.

    #54 Jennifer Lopez - Hypnotico

    Peak: #6
    Weeks: 15

J-Lo's 2nd highest entry. This track is an obvious smash and definitely has that hot latino vibe. What managed to outrank this?

#53 David Guetta - Who's That Chick? ft. Rihanna

    Peak: #1 (1 Week)
Weeks: 12 (3 weeks of the 12 were spent in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

Both Rihanna and David Guetta will rank higher, but this song is a smash nonetheless. It missed the top 50 mainly due to the three weeks it lost, but still made a great showing regardless.

    #52 Kelly Clarkson - You Can't Win

    Peak: #1 (1 Week)
    Weeks: 10

This song is still charting as of my 12.31.11 chart and will undoubtedly gain plenty of points during 2012. This song is simply an anthem and the best offering from Kelly's newest album.

    #51 OneRepublic - Good Life

    Peak: #12
    Weeks: 20

This song actually ended up having two separate runs during 2011. This lead to the low peak and high longevity for the song. However at this point I've grown to hate the song and it is their highest entry. This is the highest entry that did not make the top 10.[/collapse]

[collapse=Hot ZV Radio Smashes]Hot ZV Radio Smashes

#50 Avril Lavigne - What The Hell

    Peak: 7
    Weeks: 18

This song remained low for a while before finally catching on with me some. This gave it a decent peak and a fair amount of longevity. However Avril did manage to best herself with one other track. How high will it rank?

#49 Taio Cruz - Hangover ft. Flo Rida

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 14

I simply love Taio Cruz and Flo Rida. Both put out plenty of great material from my perspective (I know that opinion is not the popular one.), and this song is no different. An instant smash that I listened to on repeat for quite some time. They both have higher ranked songs, but this one is still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart.

#48 Katy Perry - The One That Got Away

    Peak: 5
Weeks: 27 (9 weeks of the 27 were during 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

Not only did this song chart in 2010, then have a resurgence in 2011 as a single; this song also remains active on the chart as of 12.31.11, meaning it could easily roll over into 2012. This song is beautiful and a smash; and yet Katy has other tracks that rank higher. What will they be?

#47 Coldplay - Princess of China ft. Rihanna

    Peak: 2
    Weeks: 11

A smash in the waiting by Coldplay and Rihanna this song has gone all the way to #2 and still remains active as of the 12.31.11 chart. Rihanna still has much more to offer while this is Coldplay's highest showing.

    #46 Britney Spears - Criminal

    Peak: 6
    Weeks: 21

One of Britney's best songs from Femme Fatale, this is her fourth highest ranking on the chart. This initially peaked at #6 after album release and then recharted after becoming a single.

#45 JTX - Love In America

    Peak: 2
    Weeks: 18

This song is simple pop perfection. It's an absolute shame that this song didn't hit it big on radio. For anyone who wants to make a great male pop song, this is a good place to take notes.

    #44 Avril Lavigne - Smile

    Peak: 4
    Weeks: 13

Avril's highest ranking on the chart. This song I grew into much quicker than What The Hell and while it didn't have as good of longevity, it didn't need to to have an impact.

#43 Adele - Rolling In The Deep

    Peak: 2
    Weeks: 15

Her highest ranking and one of the most buzzed songs of the year. Adele managed to get all the way to #2 on my chart and have a good chart run with this single.

    #42 P!nk - F!@#$% Perfect

    Peak: 8
Weeks: 22 (3 of the 22 weeks were during 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

A song which never really had a moment where it stood out, but something that was always easy to listen to. This is P!nk's higher offering on the chart and it has a wonderful video to go along with it.

#41 Kanye West - All Of The Lights ft. Alicia Keys, Elton John, Fergie, Kid Cudi & Rihanna

    Peak: 1 (3 Weeks)
    Weeks: 13

This song definitely had a quick hit-and-and run style stay on my chart. It quickly became something I was obsessed with, and stayed hooked on for a while. This song was pretty much fire; to the point that its burn ratio was huge as well. The only artists you'll see with higher entries from this superstar team are Kanye West and Rihanna.

#40 Hot Chelle Rae - I Like It Like That ft. New Boyz

    Peak: 3
    Weeks: 15

Their 2nd highest entry, Hot Chelle Rae proved they weren't simply a one-hit wonder with this smash song. New Boyz seems useless at first, but I grew to enjoy their Middle 8 rap. However this is their highest entry themselves. This song is still present as of the 12.31.11 chart.

    #39 Taylor Swift - Mean

    Peak: 3
    Weeks: 17

Taylor's third highest entry on the chart, this country-only single is definitely infectious. This song managed to push close to the top of my chart and stayed on for quite a while. What managed to go higher?

    #38 Taio Cruz - Dynamite

    Peak: 1 (1 Week)
Weeks: 72 (28 weeks of the 72 were in 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

This is the longest running song on my chart, and will likely stay the longest running song on my chart for quite some while. This song never gets old and stuck with me for quite some while. It still managed to crack the top forty, despite having its biggest weeks (including its stay at #1) during 2010 and ranking #3 on my 2010 chart. Don't worry though, Taio still managed to place a different song higher this year.

#37 Jason DeRülo - Don't Wanna Go Home

    Peak: 3
    Weeks: 14

Jason managed to place just one song higher than this song. This song was a smash and it was disappointing to see it stall on radio. It still managed to be a hit for me.

    #36 T-Pain - 5 O'Clock ft. Lily Allen & Wiz Khalifa

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 13

This is the highest you'll see any of these artists this year. This song is still going strong as of the 12.31.11 chart, having already racked up 2 weeks at #1. This song is ear candy and changes a boring Lily Allen song into a smash hit.

#35 Lady Gaga - Bad Kids

    Peak: 4
    Weeks: 26

This is Gaga's 3rd highest entry and easily one of the best off of her album Born This Way. The verses are amazing and the chorus is enjoyable too.

#34 Jeremih - Down On Me ft. 50 Cent

    Peak: 8
    Weeks: 24

This song might have had a low peak, but definitely had strong longevity. This is the highest entry for Jeremih and 50 Cent and both made this song amazing together.

#33 Usher - More (RedOne Remix)

    Peak: 2
Weeks: 17 (2 weeks of the 17 were spent during 2010 and not counted towards the 2011 chart)

Unsurprisingly those two weeks that were during 2010 were due to the non-remix version. All of its 2011 run was the remix which really takes the song to the single level. This is Usher's highest showing.

    #32 MGMT - Flash Delirium

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 15

MGMT managed to place a single song above this lead single which had an entertaining video and managed to go all the way to the top of my chart. Definitely worth looking into this song and everything it has to offer. Although its awkward structure might scare some pop-only lovers off.

    #31 Jay-Z & Kanye West - N!@#$% In Paris

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 11

A song that is still charting as of my 12.31.11 chart, this song is still going strong after being a multi-week #1. Jay-Z and Kanye West both bring out their everything to make this one of the most pop-friendly Urban tracks either have released to date. You can expect to see them both higher up on the chart.

#30 David Guetta - Where Them Girls At ft. Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj

    Peak: 2
    Weeks: 12

You can to see Nicki further on, but this is as far as David Guetta and Flo Rida go. This song was a quick summer smash and definitely infectious. Excellent contributions from all three artists.

    #29 Britney Spears - I Wanna Go

    Peak: 9
    Weeks: 27

This is the highest single ranking from Femme Fatale, although it is Britney's third highest ranking. This song never got up too high on the chart, although it managed to last a while thanks to the single release and video.

    #28 Ke$ha - Blow

    Peak: 1 (1 Week)
    Weeks: 18

The highest of Ke$ha's two entries, this song managed to make it all the way to the top of my chart and proved to be a long-lived smash. Definitely one worth remembering. But what ranked even higher?

#27 Rihanna - Cheers (Drink To That)

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 19

When I first heard the album, I didn't get the buzz for this song. However, by the time the song was released as a single, it had grown on me in the best of ways. This song managed to get all the way up to the top of my chart and stayed put for two weeks. Expect to see another two placements from Rihanna even higher on the chart.

    #26 Cee-Lo Green - F!@# You

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 19

This is as far as Cee-Lo Green goes, managing to become a multi-week number one after I initially ignored it. Definitely a smash that took some time to really click with not just me, but radio in general.

    [IMG][/collapse]

[collapse=Hot ZV Radio Hits]Hot ZV Radio Hits

#25 Kanye West - Monster ft. Bon Iver, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj & Rick Ross

    Peak: 6
    Weeks: 16

Definitely an all-star cast with this group. Everyone really stepped up to the plate and managed to keep the song going strong throughout, instead of one or two parts overshadowing the rest. This isn't Kanye's or Nicki's final stop, but expect everyone else to leave the chart here.

    #24 Ke$ha - Sleazy (Richard Powda Remix)

    Peak: 4
Weeks: 32 (3 weeks of the 32 were in 2010 and do not count towards the 2011 chart)

Definitely a song that had a lot of staying power and just didn't want to let go of throughout the year. The original version was nothing special, however this mix in particular is simply pop bliss. This is Ke$ha's highest effort this year.

#23 Selena Gomez & The Scene - Love You Like A Love Song

    Peak: 5
    Weeks: 20

A song that is still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart, this song took a while to reach its peak of five. The song doesn't feel like anything special at first, but eventually it does click with you. This is their highest entry this year.

#22 Tinie Tempah - Written In The Stars ft. Eric Turner

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 17

The highest you'll see Eric Turner, although Tinie still has another hit lurking in the upper ranks of the chart. This song has a sing-song chorus along with some slick raps and hook. Can't go wrong with such a perfect combination!

#21 Cobra Starship - You Make Me Feel... ft. Sabi

    Peak: 4
    Weeks: 24

A song that still is charting as of the 12.31.11 chart; this song has had great longevity despite always being in the shadow of other tracks. A solid effect for Cobra Starship and Sabi, although Sabi is the one with another hit waiting in the upper ranks.

#20 Tim McGraw - Felt Good On My Lips

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
Weeks: 34 (8 weeks of the 34 were in 2010 and do not count towards the 2011 chart)

This song actually managed to be #48 on my 2010 year end chart. And one of those weeks in 2010 was actually its first week at #1. Despite losing those points it still got a good showing in 2011 and is Tim's highest entry this year.

#19 Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 24

A song which took everyone by surprise and was the breakout hit for Foster The People managed to do the same for me. This song got me interested enough to check out their album and it was definitely worth it, considering it isn't even their highest ranked track! This song is still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart.

#18 Jennifer Lopez - I'm Into You ft. Lil Wayne

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 18

This is the highest effort for both artists, managing to sit atop the chart for two weeks. An infectious summer hit, this song didn't get the radio love it deserves.

#17 Jason DeRülo - It Girl

    Peak: 3
    Weeks: 19

This is his highest ranking for the year, and definitely an infectious song. It is actually still charting as of my 12.31.11 chart as well. A great single choice that deserved much more love from radio.

#16 Taylor Swift - Back To December

    Peak: 4
    Weeks: 27

This is Taylor's second highest entry on my chart, and the highest entry this year that did not reach the #1 or #2 ranks. This is a wonderfully sincere mid-tempo from Taylor that can really get the emotions going if you're in the mood.

    #15 Taio Cruz - Higher

    Peak: 1 (3 Weeks)
Weeks: 28 (8 weeks of the 28 were during 2010 and do not count towards the 2011 chart)

This song ranked #45 for my year-end chart for 2010 and yet still manages to rank #15 this year. In fact, all three of its weeks at #1 were during 2010 and are not reflected here, which should go to show how big this song was for me. This is Taio's highest entry this year, and this reflects the solo version of the song. The versions that feature Travie and Kylie are absolute garbage and take away from this flawless song in its solo form. I blame both of them for this song being less successful than it should have been both worldwide and in the US.

#14 MGMT - Song For Dan Treacy

    Peak: 2
    Weeks: 20

This is the highest entry for MGMT and easiest the most pop-friendly song from their album. This is definitely an ear worm and worth a listen to. I was disappointed this was not given any single treatment as it is one of the band's best works to date.

#13 LMFAO - Sexy And I Know It

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 13

A song that is still smashing hard on the 12.31.11 chart, this is the song that got me into LMFAO after I wasn't impressed with Party Rock Anthem. This song is very tongue-in-cheek and yet perfectly executed regardless of that. This is their highest entry and it is well deserved.

#12 Foster The People - I Would Do Anything For You

    Peak: 1 (1 Week)
    Weeks: 17

Another song that is still chugging along strong on the 12.31.11 chart, this is the highest ranking for Foster The People and a song that has really connected with me. The song is beautiful and not something you'd really expect from an indie-alternative band. This is another song I really encourage people to check out and one that I hope gets exposed as a future single.

#11 Taylor Swift - Better Than Revenge

    Peak: 1 (1 Week)
Weeks: 32 (6 weeks of the 32 were during 2010 and do not count towards the 2011 chart)

The highest ranking from Taylor Swift and the best song on her Speak Now album. It was an absolute crime that this song was overlooked as a single as it was easily much more accessible to pop radio than the limited and bland The Story of Us. Regardless this song managed to still smash here despite losing six weeks to 2010.

#10 Rihanna - We Found Love ft. Calvin Harris

    Peak: 1 (4 Weeks)
    Weeks: 15
    Highest Weekly Points: 1808

This is the youngest song in the top 10, although it is almost certain to make the chart next year as well as it is still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart. Having spent four weeks at #1 and five weeks at #2 already, there is no sign of this song slowing down. Simply a flawless song in all regards. This is Calvin Harris' sole entry, but Rihanna still has another song in the ranks.

#9 Britney Spears - (Drop Dead) Beautiful ft. Sabi

    Peak: 1 (1 Week)
    Weeks: 34
    Highest Weekly Points: 1902

This is very easily the best song off of Femme Fatale and simply flawless in all regards. A definite smash and should have been given the single treatment it deserves. Sabi brings on the heat after Britney has you hooked the whole way through. This is Sabi's highest entry, although Britney actually has a higher placement on the list. What will it be?

#8 The Script - For The First Time

    Peak: 1 (1 Week)
    Weeks: 27
    Highest Weekly Points: 1556

This is the highest entry from The Script, despite their other three entries being all near the bottom of the chart next to one another. This song definitely has some memorable lyrics and shouldn't be passed up. I didn't think it was special at first, but it did grow on me.

#7 Lady Gaga - Yoü & I (Mark Taylor Remix)

    Peak: 1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 26
    Highest Weekly Points: 1709

This song initially peaked at #2 for me, however this remix in particular managed to make the song into a multi-week #1, which is why I'm crediting the remix as the main version as it also extended the song's chart life. This is Lady Gaga's 2nd highest entry, meaning a non-single managed to grab her highest entry. Which song was that?

#6 Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)

    Peak: 2
Weeks: 39 (11 weeks of the 39 were in 2010 and do not count towards the 2011 chart)
    Highest Weekly Points: 1834

This is Katy's 2nd highest entry on the chart, and would of course charted higher had all of its weeks been during 2011. This was an instant stand-out track from the album and I was very pleased to see it hit #1 on billboard. This is actually not the highest ranked #2 song, as another song that peaked at #2 managed to go even higher. Missy Elliot's remix did play a role in extending the song's chart life some, but it's overall effect is minimal and it is not the version credited as the main version. Which of Katy's songs managed to go even higher?

    #5 Lady Gaga - Hair

    Peak: #1 (4 Weeks)
    Weeks: 33
    Highest Weekly Points: 1705

    I just wanna be free
    I just wanna be me
And I want lots of friends
That invite me to their parties

This song is actually still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart and is Lady Gaga's highest entry this year. No song deserves the single treatment more than this one when it comes to Lady Gaga's album Born This Way. This song is simply perfection and one of the most easily related to songs you'll ever hear from Gaga. I am happy this song was at least given the promo single treatment, although it does deserve a video and full release. It takes a massive song to stay atop my chart for four weeks and an additional two weeks at #2, and this song was just that. The lyrics I chose to represent this song are indeed my favourite, and the set that other might point out as being "dumb". I disagree and find the lyrics to be honest and true and find that they help draw me into the song.

#4 Katy Perry - E.T. ft. Kanye West & Tinie Tempah

    Peak: #1 (1 Week)
Weeks: 53 (12 weeks of the 53 were during 2010 and do not count towards 2011)
    Highest Weekly Points: 1836

You're from a whole other world
    A different dimension
    You open my eyes
    And I'm ready to go
    Lead me into the light

This is the highest entry from all of the artists listed. The original version was the one which charted during 2010 and then spilled over some during 2011. Kanye West got me to listen to it again, and the remix with both Kanye West and Tinie Tempah on board was the one that pushed this song all the way to #1 and gave it lasting appeal. All parts of the songs are wonderful and nothing holds it down. The song is easily one of the most memorable of 2011. While this only spent a single week at #1 and an additional two weeks at #2, it managed to stay strong for quite a while. Perfection just doesn't get old quickly. The lyrics I quoted are a set that are definitely beautifully written. Sometimes it does take someone else to open your eyes and get you to try something new, and yes, you do need to be willing to go into the light to be able to better yourself sometimes.

    #3 Rihanna - S&M ft. Britney Spears

    Peak: #1 (2 Weeks)
    Weeks: 42
    Highest Weekly Points: 1803

    Cause I may be bad
But I'm perfectly good at it
Sex in the air, I don't care
I love the smell of it
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But chains and whips excite me

This is the highest entry for both of these top tier divas and a song that definitely keeps things wild and fun. While most are not keen to the remix, the remix actually took the song to a whole new level for me, making it a multi-week #1 smash when it had previously only gone as high as #7 with just Rihanna alone. This song spent its entire run during 2011, which is highly beneficial for a song that had the longevity that this one had. The lyrics I quoted are definitely tongue-in-cheek, but they are fun and wild and something you can easily enjoy and sing along to. After all, who doesn't want to be perfectly good at being bad? What two songs could have possibly managed to top something this massive?

#2 Nicki Minaj - Super Bass

    Peak: #2
    Weeks: 38
    Highest Weekly Points: 1643

Excuse me, you're a hell of a guy
You know I really got a thing for American guys
    I mean, sigh, sickenin' eyes
I can tell that you're in touch with your feminine side, oh

This is the highest ranked song that stalled at #2, and sadly it looks like it has been blocked from the top spot yet again. This is Nicki's highest entry and it stalled at #2 for three weeks. Despite that, it still managed to continually chart high and it still going strong as it is charting as of the 12.31.11 chart. There is no end in sight for this song, as Nicki's infectious verses just keep you hooked and never seem to grow old. The song is a fun blend of an assertive courtship in the rap lyrics and a pleasant announcement of love in the middle eight and chorus. This allows the song to keep a rough exterior without going into overly sexual lyrics and remain sincere without going into super lovey dovey lyrics. The lyrics I chose in particular are some of my favourite; maybe because I can relate. What managed to hit the top if all of the divas in the top ten have already had their highest appearance show up?!

    [IMG][/collapse]

[collapse=Hot ZV Song Of The Year]Hot ZV Radio Song Of The Year

#1 Hot Chelle Rae - Tonight Tonight

    Peak: #1 (6 Weeks)
    Weeks: 31
    Highest Weekly Points: 1757

    La, la, la, whatever
La, la, la, it doesn't matter
    La, la, la, oh well
    La, la, la

That's right for the third time the big divas miss out on making the top slot. In 2009 Lady Gaga's Bad Romance lost the battle to the prominently male-vocal track Alive by The Black Eyed Peas. In 2010 Ke$ha's Your Love Is My Drug lost the battle to the solo male track If I Had You by Adam Lambert. And now in 2011 Nicki Minaj's Super Bass loses the battle to the fully male vocal group Hot Chelle Rae's Tonight Tonight. Regardless, this song definitely earned its top placing. Managing a record-breaking six weeks at number one and still charting as of the 12.31.11 chart after over thirty weeks on the chart is not an easy task. In fact it managed to log another five weeks at #2 in addition to its six week stay at #1. Additionally it managed to break the 1,000 point barrier for sixteen consecutive weeks, which is simply a colossal run. The song actually has an awkward song structure that most don't notice. It progresses quickly and gets to the "middle eight" by the 1:20 mark. Meaning a good two minutes are the middle eight and beyond. That time is simply an amazing hot mess mix of various hooks and the chorus that really keep things going. The lyrics I quoted are simply a great motto to live by; don't let anything keep you down and just brush it off and keep on living. One of my favourite songs of all time for sure, I simply adore it and its carefree nature.

it is in-progress still, but everything is *essentially* done:

I have pretty much all but 100/150 pictures needed, as well as other stuff like movepools and etc... so I guess the lab :p
Hey Firus, if I were to post a thread detailing my own Fake generation (like everything), should it go in the lab or could it go right on the PC Main page?
I am playing through it for the first time right now, via 3DS Ambassador program. I've always wanted to play it, especially since you hyped it up a couple years ago—when I was playing Super Metroid (never did beat that...)
Holy ****, Neglected Spaces is crazy. It reminds me more of a "Hide and Seek" type of song rather than alot of her work on Ellipse....which is awesome, since Hide and Seek is great.
Wow I like Minds Without Fear too O_o What is this middle eastern vibe haha. She is so innovative, I love it.

You really shouldn't be afraid of sending another message. Chances are, by THIS point, he has just honestly forgotten that he had a message. Remember when you open it the notification goes away so at this point i would chalk it up to the fact that he is forgetful.
So I found myself on Kerli's wikipedia page to see when her new album is planning to come out.
And I found this awesome quote:

    ----------
She frequently cites Björk as well as Imogen Heap as major influences and among her favorite musicians
    ----------
:D Even our favorite artists have our favorite artists as favorite artists!
That sentence made no sense! :D
    :D

OH, and I thought you might like this. I can't remember if you said you enjoyed dubstep or not (I have a feeling you said something like "it's okay") but I REALLY like this, and I haven't even heard the original song:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QZAOIi2mus
Yeah? It's one of my older works from a couple of years ago. xD I tinkered with fusions a little bit... but not type changes.
I have been participating in Make Your Move 10 after my hiatus. Spire fangasmed at my Majora and ReDead movesets. :p

I forgot you were a moderator, I'm used to seeing you with the Smash Debater name color.
Ah, that sounds awesome! I'm glad you like the album.
I'm doing alright. It's getting into exam week for me and I'm that one unlucky ******* that has 2 exams on the same day next week. Alot of things have gone wrong and gone great, but overall I love it here and it's great.
I'll try to be on more, but honestly I just haven't been on the INTERNET alot overall. It's hard to find time, even though I'm taking a lenient courseload.
If it makes you feel any better, I skipped a lot of meals and didn't sleep much during college. Hang in there, buddy. :c
That sounds awesome! Yeah, I was sitting with all my friends watching the VMA's and eating food on Sunday. I love college too!

By the way, David Guetta's new album Nothing But the Beat is really awesome. "Turn Me On" is with Nicki Minaj and he's got like...an all-star list of contributing artists. I really enjoy it, so if you have time, give a couple tracks a listen on youtube!
Yeah, it's both fortunate/unfortunate that she'll get alot of singles off of Pink Friday. I take solace in the fact that I'm happy for her as a successful artist! Plus alot of the songs we know were either not singles or promotional singles (Roman's Revenge was promotional, Check it Out....promotional or not? IDK).
But the video is great and I'm happy that she's working on her new album!
Yeah, I was on top of a parking deck sitting waiting for my friends to walk past, and I felt the ground shake under me and I was like "WTF?", then I saw the reports of the earthquake and I was like "Oh, damn, I knew it!"
Yeah, college is crazy! It's like, I have a bunch of free time but like....no free time at the same time. My classes start today so I'll PM you my schedule at some point so you have a better idea of when we could talk.
Good luck! I'm glad everyone in your program is ready and willing to hang out, that's definitely one of the harder parts of college socializing. For me, my roommate and I just left out door open with a sign that says "Come Say Hi!" and alot of people stop back and talk to us. It's really cool meeting so many new (and SMART) people.
Hey man, welcome to North Carolina! *tips straw hat*
So I know I haven't been on alot this week (read: at all) but I wanted to wish you save travels and I'm sure we'll talk when I'm all settled into my dorm room as well!
As a welcoming gift, I thought I'd show you some songs that I've been really liking for the past few weeks:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mQVljB7JGw&ob=av2e (The Gossip - Heavy Cross)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3E9Wjbq44E (Gym Class Heroes ft. Adam Levine - Stereo Hearts)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQmxuRuLXyI&feature=fvst (Kid Cudi - Cudderisback)

    =D
Yeah pretty much. Sadly he does have a point though, with the whole "getting more listeners" bit and whatnot.

I'm gonna chop my **** off.
