    Yeah I was a mod in shoddybattle, but I stopped being a mod with the merging of official and smogon's server. They already have tons of mods and I don't play pokemon anymore so I lost interest

    It's important to enjoy playing your main so pick the best character that you like to play. And I would pick one from either the S or A tier.

    If you don't have a lot of time to practice... MK/Jiggs. Use Jiggs for Diddy or anyone who will obviously beat your MK due to MU experience.

    I had the same problem with wanting to play more aggressively than was effective (ie. at all). I switched to melee and B+. If you want to play aggressively in vBrawl MK and Diddy are basically your best options.

    All those characters require a lot of work, you can't really main all of them. Keeping MK as a second will help you deal with their problem matchups.

    ICs and Pika have both been shown to be viable. Peach... not so much. Peach and Pika is a good combo but again, very hard to master them both.

    If you play the ICs... you have to practice a lot. No way around it.

    You've got to ask yourself a bunch of questions: why do you play, what people will you be playing against, what are you best at? Do you play for the competition, for love of a specific character? Do you have something to prove?

    I play competitively and I like to win. I love characters that are cute/bada** and can be played in a flashy manner. I enjoy playing everyone I use (B+, but w/e not important given the question): Jiggs/MK (main), Ganon/Lucas (secondary). This doesn't mean I've limited myself to them alone, I play almost the entire cast.

    Basically it comes down to this: you have to balance the sometimes conflicting need to pick a character who you can win with, and someone you actually like using. If MK/Snake doesn't do it for you, don't use them, you will never be satisfied and since it is a game... why bother?

    Pikachu/MK is my recommendation given I know you used to play Pika (and maybe still do) and that combination is solid competitively. Also, those are the most fun characters in vBrawl imo. Everyone will know how to deal with MK though, he's good but so common. Just... don't main Jiggs.

    yeah i switch between kirby, peach, jigglypuff, sometimes mk. Brawl sucks all the characters have things about them i dont like

    kirby- bad approaches
    jigglypuff- bad matchups
    mk- too good
    peach- bad at killing

    Nay. I'm more of a medievil rather than scifi kind of guy, but Starcraft looks alright. It's just way too late for me to start getting into it now :\

    And yeah, DotA is pretty fun. I hated it at first, when I was terrible at it.
    It's too easy to get sucked into though, and avoid the normal ladder >_<

    I'll give you tips when I get my new laptop in a couple weeks and can watch warcraft 3 replays and play you and stuff, how's that? :p

    tips: watch replays. go to wcreplays.net (or is it .com? one of them....unless it's .org lolol) and watch some Human players, you'll learn a ton. Pay particular attention to their build order in the beginning of the game, that's very important.
