The reason why Pearl and Marina aren't in Splatoon 3 could be because Nintendo just couldn't think of anything to do with them in the base game, so they'll save them for the large scale paid DLC.

They could have come up with a different plot for the Pyra/Mythra trailer. And it shouldn't take place during the events of XC2 because one, it's extremely out of character and a jerk move for Pyra to abandon Rex without telling him where she's going when he's spending his time trying to help her get to Elysium. And two, why would Pyra drop everything and go join a fighting tournament when Alrest is in danger?
In Splatoon 3's large scale paid DLC, what if you play as Agents 4 and 8 and at the beginning when you choose to be an Inkling girl, Inkling boy, Octoling girl or Octoling boy, you'll play as Agent 4 if you pick an Inkling and you'll play as Agent 8 if you pick an Octoling?
According to leaks, GameCube remasters are coming, but that doesn't sound likely. It's possible that the leakers got their facts wrong and we're actually getting GameCube games added to the NSO Expansion Pack. That sounds more likely to happen and remember, leakers don't always get every detail 100% right.

Smash started out as a Nintendo crossover, but adding too many 3rd parties turned it into a celebration of all gaming in general. What if we add 4th parties so we can turn it into a celebration of all forms of media? If Smash transformed once, it can transform again.
C/D: Xenoblade 2 is just as important to the Xenoblade series as FE Awakening is to the Fire Emblem series. It's the game that made the series become mainstream.
What if the FE reps no longer carried their weapons while they do their idle, walking, running or jump animations and they also get axe and lance attacks put in their movesets along with their sword attacks? After all, in their games they can learn to use axes and lances.

What if an ARMS sequel was E10+, but its overall tone was more mature than the first game? It could have the tone of a superhero cartoon since the characters look like superheroes.

The Multiversus devs know the majority of the Switch player base would just play Smash Ultimate instead. That's why Multiversus isn't coming to Switch.
Killer Instinct 2013 is good. I think this game mostly deserves credit not for what it does, but for what it DOESN'T do. It doesn't change its franchise's genre cough Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts cough. It doesn't give its characters redesigns that make them unrecognizable cough Young Conker cough. It doesn't use an art style that makes it look like Teen Titans Go cough Battletoads 2020 cough. Killer Instinct 2013 stays more true to its predecessors than any of the three mentioned games.
Would FE Fates Conquest's ending have been better or worse if Takumi's arrow really did kill Corrin? People who hate him must have felt satisfied when he was shot and almost died.
In the E3 2018 presentation, Sakurai says Smash is an action game about Smashing beloved game characters off the screen. But in the Sephiroth presentation he says Smash is a party game, so which is it?

In Smash 6, you should be able to reflect Min Min's arms back at her and whenever she gets hit with electricity related attacks, her arms should be disabled for one second. This should also hold true for Spring Man when he becomes playable.

What if a Mario Kart game had a story mode that was an open world game? You would have to have balloons attached to your kart at all times, there would be enemies all over the open world, you would use items from ? Boxes to defeat the enemies and if you get hit by an enemy, you'll lose a balloon. If you lose all your balloons you'll have to restart from the last time your game was saved.
What if a new F-Zero game was tied to Mario Kart 9 like Mario 3D World and Bowser's Fury? It would be Mario Kart 9 + F-Zero [insert title here]. If a new F-Zero game was a standalone game, it wouldn't sell very well unless it had an innovative new gameplay mechanic but if it wouldn't have to if it was tied to more popular game.
A lot of rules in Fire Emblem's gameplay have always felt arbitrary. For instance, why do characters need to be in certain classes in order to use swords, axes and lances? Especially when they're strong enough to be able to wield these weapons.
Two years is long enough, what do you think of lifting all COVID-19 restrictions? No more quarantining, no more social distancing, no more face masks and no more COVID-19 restrictions.
Remember, Nintendo chose the lineups for Vol. 1 and 2, so including Byleth was their idea, not Sakurai's. Even if Sakurai were to retire, Nintendo would still want FE to constantly get new reps which I'm fine with. And FE is a Nintendo flagship in Japan (you know, where Nintendo is actually located) and it's one of their most alive and relevant franchises ever.

I have a great for a new item, the Breidablik from Fire Emblem Heroes. It summons Fire Emblem characters who will assist you. It would be like the Assist Trophies and Poke Balls.
Now that Microsoft has Activision/Blizzard, they could task them with making new Banjo and Conker games.
If every crossover that Kingdom Hearts is canon, expect future KH games to have Smash Bros. references.
Smash is a game where Mario mercilessly beats Peach and Link mercilessly beats Zelda. -
