Paul plays really aggressively in SF4, believe it or not. He abuses the crap out of ambiguous flame kicks as much as he uses dsmash in Smash. Then he plays a competent Ryu and gets scared of playing because he can't abuse his flame kicks anymore. Watching him play in SF4 then watching him...

Re-read my post, did sound a lot like complaining. Probably because I didn't mention any of Marth's strengths in the matchup. I'll apologize for that. On Dsmash- It's not the percent that bothers me. It's the fact that it shieldstabs non-light shields a lot, and knocks you far enough away...

Because playing the best peach on the West Coast probably more than anyone else on this board makes me totally bad at the matchup. And have you seen the Marth board on advice for Peach? "Marth's sword beats all of Peach's moves." And judging skill based on post count/join date is amazing...

- Dash attack beats all of Marth's sh aerials (because they don't come out in time, not because of priority) - Turnips make approaching an utter pain (don't tell me to just nair/counter through them, that does all of 10% and doesn't lead to combos because Peach can just CC it. If you messed up...

So to improve, is it better to just get better at the matchups you suck at with your main and ignore secondaries, or learn a secondary to cover those matchups? After losing a million games of Marth vs Peach to Paul, I do not see how Marth has 7-3 vs Peach (can expand on this if asked I guess)...

Out of curiosity, what stage(s) did Fox players like back in the old counterpick list? Whenever I played against Fox (as a Marth main), I could never decide which stage to ban (do I want to get gayed by Corneria, Green Greens, Rainbow Cruise, or Poke Floats?) since half of them led to Fox...
