I used to have this problem too.... then I started using Marth. His attacks are pretty long range so timing only means that I hit at the edge of my range... and usually thats out of range for my opponent.

its actually got pretty good range. It just travels in a straight line until it hits something really. I've hit people with it from across the stage on some of the small - medium sized levels. Nothing like new pork city, but final destination and battlefield definitely.

I understand what the OP was getting at. I think it would be cool to see the hammer and deku leaf show up, giving him a MUCH different style and feel. Still, everyone here is right in saying that he's not a clone.
